"The writer is a serving police officer in a non-metropolitan English police force..."

Well, he probably shouldn't be, if this is his attitude towards his colleagues:
“The thing is, Sarge, she’s already made one allegation of rape tonight so there’s no way I’m going out on my own to her house. I’ve got my own safety to think about.” The detective’s words left me momentarily speechless.
It was the early hours of a busy weekend, and I was the CID night sergeant on duty. A local woman had been out with a new boyfriend and allowed him to walk her home but not to enter her flat. He had pushed her inside and raped her, then left. She had called 999 and reported the rape and was waiting for a police response. All our uniformed colleagues were tied up with the usual, “night-time economy” domestic abuse incidents, mental health crises and custody duties that fill response officers’ night shifts. And I’d had the temerity to ask an experienced male detective to make contact with the woman, visit her to reassure her that she was now safe and to begin to record evidence in his notebook while a female colleague travelled from the other side of the county to assist with forensic evidence recovery.

Note that there's no 'she alleged', or 'she reported' there in his statement. And the lack of imagination that anyone could be concerned at the prospect of having the same accusation levelled at them is breathtaking.

I’m about to retire after decades in the force...

Your colleagues will be safer with you gone.

Black Boy Lane

This assumes you already know of this issue:

At what point does the entire insanity stop?  Not just Black Boy Lane of course?

For Scotland and Australia

So Where Do They Go?

Low-traffic neighbourhoods significantly reduce the amount of motor vehicles within their boundaries without appearing to push traffic on to roads around their edges, the most comprehensive study yet of such schemes in the UK has concluded.
They don't evaporate, do they?
While the authors behind the research, from the University of Westminster’s Active Travel Academy (ATA), noted they only had useable data for just under half the 96 LTNs installed in London between March 2020 and May 2021, but said there was significant overall evidence of so-called traffic evaporation.
Oh. My mistake!
The research, which was based on traffic count data before and after the installation of 46 so-called LTNs in London, found a reduction in motor traffic within the zones of 32.7% when measured as the median, and a 46.9% drop when calculated as the mean. Of the 413 roads inside the LTNs with before-and-after traffic counts, the percentage experiencing an average of fewer than 1,000 motor vehicles a day, seen as a good shorthand for a street receptive to more cycling and walking, rose from 41% to 66%.

But surely, unless they also measure the amount of before and after cycling and walking, they can't say that that's what people are doing instead?

"We hold these truths to be self-evident ..."

So began Thomas Jefferson but we also, of the non or anti-Woke world under severe threat are stubbornly and relentlessly saying it over and over, day in, day out and in many ways, it resembles what happened with Charles Spurgeon in the C19th.

He set off what became known as The Downgrade Controversy, where he claimed that supposed pastors of the faith were blending in all sorts of non-scriptural interpretations and in a nutshell, said they were being "led" by ungodly men.  We only need look at the antiPope and Welby as examples of that, the C of E is rife with it.
If you see a stick that is crooked, and you want people to see how crooked it is, lay a straight rod down beside it; that will be quite enough. But if you are drawn into controversy, use very hard arguments and very soft words.
Also, the commercialism is sickening. I went to look up some Spurgeon quotes and two things prevented it. One was that they'd put a block on copying the words from the page, as if they were copyright. However, I could have them for £16.99.

This is just making a buck or a pound from something which should have nothing to do with moolah.

And it's poisoned every single aspect of public and private life now, steeped in rank hypocrisy, e.g. the climate zealots flying into Davos using unvaccinated pilots, the theft of elections, the dumbing down of the Wokerati normies and karens.

You know, people might look st Spurgeon as an anachronistic C19th bible thumper ... he was far more, he said those above them were not fit for purpose, they were applying meanings to words which were just not legit, not valid.

Is that any different to what we're doing day in, day out, holding the bstds to self-evident truths?  Self-evident to us anyway.

"...come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives but they'll never take our freedom!"

They'll take it anyway, from those who can't fight.
Edinburgh is now the first European capital to commit to axing meat from its menus in schools, hospitals and nursing homes.

Note, all places where those confined within them often can't leave. How brave.

A council report said: 'Overall, the science is clear: Meat and dairy consumption must reduce to achieve climate targets.'

Then ban the sale of milk and meat in Scotland. If you can, without pitchforks and flaming torches featuring in your future.

But you know you can't. So you'll pick on those who can't fight back.

The move comes days before Burns Night – the centrepiece of which is haggis, traditionally made from a sheep's liver, lungs, heart and stomach.

Offal, in other words. Maybe this year they could give the sheep a rest and make it out of the innards of a bureaucrat?

Just some observations

(01:58 GMT) There's coming awake due to things such as ill health ... there's also coming awake due to other factors, including simply age.  The second is just part of those final years, plus low level stress due to everything going on out there, inc. personal loss.

For decades, my view in the face of several swords of Damocles has been: "It's not your actual situation which is the most crucial, imminent danger ... but how you feel about it."

The psycho has low stress coz he just doesn't care. Truly does not care. I was just reading of a crazy in Liverpool yesterday who drove a car at a mother and child, no racial factor. There was another in America but he was shot dead after a disgracefully lenient sentence.  And so it goes on.

What I'm suggesting to readers is that the zero stress of the psycho is an illusion ... that he's indeed a stressed out person to the extent of becoming an out of control Jason Bourne, a malfunctioning unit.

Combine dozens of those out there with actual intent by those above, i.e. whoever activates  Manchurians and why ... that then brings in Dr. Shiva someone at Epoch in this morning's emailing who is an academic, Indian, probably Hindu, which ties in with this "wellness" thing I really should be fisking but where's the time?

Her premise was that the 1% ... which is code anyway for leftwingism ... they talk that way, in those terms, also about Capitalism and Climate Change ... that this 1% is deeply into divide and rule, as well as depopulation, which we know is one consequence of many things ... destroying farms and food, digital currency, the tech password mania demanding your phone number, also the deathjabs which, from those above now running for cover is an actuality, not a conspiracy theory, leading Gates to state let's put the poison in their food and water ... at this point, I stop and think:

Why The Sudden Change?

Canewdon Preschool and Daycare, in High Street, Canewdon, has been rated “requires improvement” in all areas by Ofsted following an inspection in November.

Oh, and why?

It stated: “Staff do not help children to manage their feelings and emotions effectively or to understand how their actions affect others.
“When children's behaviour escalates, staff try different ways to explain why their response was inappropriate.
“However, this is not done in a way that helps children to understand, and they do not learn how to self-regulate their behaviour.”

Why is this an issue? More specifically, why is this the responsibility of the nursery staff, and not their parents?

How old are these children?

At the time of the inspection, there were 20 children on roll, all aged between two and four.

Huh!

The preschool was previously rated “good” by Ofsted in an inspection in 2017.

So, what's changed? The staff? The children? Or the criteria for awarding the rating, perhaps..?

It’s all in the attitude, the behaviour, the sheer numbers … nothing else

The question this morning was which to run of the issues right now.

For example, there is Ardern, which ties in the WEF plus the enforced deathjabs, there are the pollies in Davos, there is Heels Up Harris being groomed for Pres, there’s the “gay” “couple” who’ve been investigated by Townhall in the US for sodomising their “sons” and hiring them out … think I might run with this one:

There is a distinct difference between some demographic increasing in numbers, running corner shops, paying taxes and becoming PM … as against a demographic which suddenly appears with a knife, screaming hallo snackbar and stabbing people or grooming thousands of native girls, pack raping, then murdering a fair few of them.

With attitude, as the Americans would say.  As the commenter above says, it all comes down to clashing cultures and dominance.  All eyes on the corner shop pair running the country with a WEFer holding the purse strings.
