Another Case Where Mental Health Services Have Failed Everyone...

Jala Debella, 24, attacked medical secretary Anita Mukhey, 66, in front of shocked passers-by in north London at about 11.50am on May 9 2024. He stabbed her 18 times before he 'casually' walked away while people rushed to help the victim.

Why did no-one rush to apprehend the suspect? Because once again it was a young, fit armed black man who targetted the defenceless elderly woman. Funny how they are never too mad to not pick easy prey, isn't it?

Ms Mukhey's husband Hari criticised the NHS handling of Debella, who was not considered to pose a risk to the community.

By which the staff in charge meant 'not a threat to our probably-gated community in a nice area of London' no doubt.

At a hearing at the Old Bailey on Friday, Debella was sentenced to a hospital order under Section 37 of the Mental Health Act and a restriction order under Section 41 – meaning he can be detained indefinitely.

Or until some other trick cyclist declares him 'cured' and the Home Office fails to deport him back to whichever third world shithole he truly belongs in...

Addressing his remarks to an empty dock as Debella was not in court, Judge Philip Katz KC said: 'Anita Mukhey was the heart of the family. She was a wife, mother and grandmother, aged 66 when she was stabbed to death by a complete stranger on a busy main road in north London.'

As always, a stranger with a lengthy criminal history:

Dr Melanie Higgins, Debella's medical consultant, confirmed he had been detained under the Mental Health Act on at least three occasions before he attacked Ms Mukhey. She said he suffered from paranoid schizophrenia and arrangements had been made for his continued admission at Ashworth High Secure Hospital in Merseyside.

Too little, too late. As always.

Isn't It Time They Faced Charges Of Aiding And Abetting?

A schizophrenic artist stabbed a dog walker to death after being allowed out of a mental hospital despite a warning that she had ‘discussed murdering people’, an inquest heard today. Emma Borowy, 32, was sectioned after stealing and slaughtering two goats in a ‘witchcraft’ ceremony. But doctors continued to grant the mother-of-one short spells of leave from the unit despite Borowy repeatedly absconding and twice being found armed with a knife.
Yes, it's this case.
Consultant psychiatrist Dr Dilraj Sohi insisted that ward staff would have asked police for any ‘relevant’ information. He confirmed he hadn’t met Borowy before granting her leave on August 4, having just taken over as her doctor. Asked by senior coroner Tanyka Rawden if this was ‘acceptable’, Dr Sohi said ward notes assessed her as ‘settled’ in preceding days.

Then why are you collecting a salary for not doing your job and actually meeting the people you're supposed to be assessing?

Coroner Ms Rawden asked the psychiatrist whether the speed of her deterioration made him ‘reflect’ on whether Borowy should have been granted leave. Dr Sohi replied that he had ‘reflected a lot’, but that he would probably have approved it even if he had assessed her face-to-face first.

WTAF?

We do live in hope that people will improve when we try to work with them,’ he added.

And everyone else takes the risk caused by your hopeless naivety, of course.

Mr Leadbeater was described by his family as a ‘good, hard-working and decent man’ whose job was to drive children with special needs to school.

Why should Sohi continue to be employed? Indeed, why should he not face charges of aiding and abetting Mt Leadbetter's murder? If they had to face genuine consequenses for their decisions, they'd make better ones.

No Doubt Lockdown Will Be Blamed For The Delays...

Boy, don't those wheels of justice grind slowly...for some?

A coroner who bullied staff and lost sensitive documents about murder of a schoolgirl on a train has been sacked.

Don't rush to judgement, eh?

Chinyere Inyama was dismissed from his position after an investigation was carried out into claims he misled the Chief Coroner.
The controversial coroner has been the centre of several scandals since he was appointed in 2013, including in 2014 when he left a sensitive police document about the murder of 14-year-old Alice Gross on a train.

Screw with the public, no-one seems to care much. But mislead the Chief Coroner? That's a no-no, even if you do hold a RaceCard™...

A Tale Of Two Deaths...

The Independent Office for Police Conduct is investigating Arthur’s death. The driver of the unmarked police car is under criminal investigation for the offence of causing death by dangerous driving. He has not been arrested.
Elsewhere...
A 56-year-old man, thought to be driving a black BMW, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

It's a bit of a puzzle, no..?
