Microdave's analysis:

Re "The Black Swan Event"

I spent some time researching the systems on the MV Dali last night. Wiki tells us that it has a single main (propulsion) engine, a Two Stroke MAN B&W S90ME, coupled to a fixed-pitch propeller. For manoeuvring in ports, it has a single 3,000 kW (4,000 hp) bow thruster. Electricity is generated onboard by two 3,840 kW (5,150 hp) and two 4,400 kW (5,900 hp) auxiliary diesel generators. So there is plenty of redundancy in the electrical side of things. I then found (and downloaded) a 353 page installation and operating manual for the S90ME. It's for a slightly later version, so there may be some detail differences, but the main features should be the same. Here's a section of text from the Engine Control System section:

The ME system has a high level of redundancy.
It has been a requirement to its design that no
single failure related to the system may cause the
engine to stop."

Being a modern "Common Rail" design, it has duplicate control computers, which run in parallel, so if one fails the other instantly takes over. They each have separate AC to 24v DC power supplies with battery back up. Each cylinder has its own control module which operates the fuel injector, exhaust valve & air starting valve. These valves all need a high pressure oil supply to work, and that comes from multiple electric pumps, and (standard) crankshaft driven pumps, which will keep the engine running alone above idle speed. All this lot, and multiple control positions, run on two separate computer networks.

It strikes me that the only "Accidental" way the main engine would stop is IF the engine driven pumps were not specified during construction, and then electric power was lost.

But if a crew member (or anyone able to gain access during a stop over) planted malware in the system, then potentially just about everything on the ship could be remotely controlled. Even once power was restored it would take time to move from one extreme to the other. It's also a limitation of such vessels that to go into reverse means completely stopping the main engine, and re-starting it in the opposite direction - no gearbox is typically fitted on such large engines. This can (potentially) take in the order of minutes to accomplish, so wouldn't have helped in this case, even if they DID have control.

Try this too:

Plenty more at a site called NOWP.
James Highamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14525082702330365464noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6160566690841415782.post-24168570705897272972024-03-27T10:00:00.005+00:002024-03-27T10:00:00.139+00:00Holding Companies To Ransom…
Staff at the UK’s national institute for artificial intelligence and data science have expressed “serious concerns” about the organisation’s approach to diversity after it appointed four men to senior roles.

But the rise of the climate activist group Extinction Rebellion in 2019 inspired her and her husband to go further. “We thought: well, if we don’t do it then who else is going to?”
While working as a GP near Birmingham, Benn became increasingly involved in direct action over the next few years, and once glued her hand to the door of the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy in protest at the government’s inaction on the climate.

*sighs* If only they spent as much time seeing patients as they do virtue signalling, we'd respect them more...

Benn now faces a professional tribunal by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS), the disciplinary arm of the General Medical Council (GMC), to determine whether she can keep her licence to practise. She is one of three GPs who face being struck off for climate activism this year, and her case in April is the first that will be heard.

After her first four criminal convictions – two for obstructing a highway, one for stopping people engaged in a lawful activity and one for flying a drone in a restricted place – the GMC opened an investigation.

Yes, Reader, you read that right - it takes FOUR convictions to get them to come in off the golf course and take a good hard look...

It was not until Benn was found guilty of contempt of court for breaching a civil injunction at Kingsbury oil terminal in Warwickshire as part of a Just Stop Oil campaign that she was referred for a full tribunal. Benn spent a total of 31 days in prison for this action.

And she's far from the only one:

Dr Patrick Hart, a GP from Bristol, also has a string of convictions for climate activism, one of which resulted in a suspended prison sentence. Yes, the "westerner" still makes up the vast majority, moreso in the countryside and small towns, far fewer in the cities, e.g. Bradford, London, Chicago, NYC, SF ... leftwing places, leftwing or "world" culture. Overall numbers.

Consider the western girl, head bashed by black girl, brain damage, now breathing. Let's consider the physical strength, the stock we're looking at respectively. Kumbaya candle vigilists, the greatest crime getting someone's pronouns wrong, the viciousness of the weak person ... en masse ... the "refugees welcome" generations.

Now consider the physical and mental stock of the invaders ... their hardness, callousness, their capacity for enduring hardship, on very little food. As was seen in the Moscovsky oblast or outer area in the NW ... it was like a knife through butter, it was lambs to the slaughter.

Part of it has been the loss of the psych war ... the MSM, "entertainment", interpersonal behaviour ... all satanised, me me me, hormonal teenage girl reaction to almost everything, from vicious attacks, lashing out, to gluing hands to roads to total inner collapse, the entire, coordinated wellness industry.

What was it Robert Zimmerman sang? Your sons and your daughters are beyond your command. What were we like? Clambering up climbing frames, falling off, grazing our knees, riding our bikes or walking, house chores ... we were the generation during which true toughness faded, died.

The generation before ... toughened by necessity, rationing, austerity ... the war generation. Gen X? Bits of metal over the body, tatts, yet brittle as crisps inside ... feminised. Millennials? Zoomers? Teachers and evil clinics all over ... there's a Tavistock centre up the road from here for body mutilation for youth ... shhhhh, don't tell mum and the current man who services her.

Fathers? Free of any responsibility, not in the home, more generally alone, jaundiced view of female meat as receptacles. Why not? Look at female behaviour at the death knell end of feminazism ... who'd go near it?

Now look again at the invaders ... the very worst elements from those lands, hardly the brightest and best. Somalia for goodness sake! Ten mindless Orc gunmen, ten thousand sensitive human souls at a concert? Tajikistan? Whateverstan?

Now add religion to those ten Orcs, to justify their behaviour ... fanatical hatred, mission to slaughter, unless you are suddenly converting ... you heard the imam ... door to door they're going, asking are you already a deathculter ... if not, think of Oct 7 in Israel. Think of subsequently in Gaza.

Oh but that's over there, we're here, different other thing.

Is it? River to the sea lightshow on Big Ben tower? Hamas marches every weekend?

How do we westerners react? In America ... MAGA. In Britain ... we're on X, posting pics of a Better Britain from the past ... very pretty pics to be sure, very nice people. Deep rejection of how it's all fallen away. Fear deep inside, that which cannot be expressed or you'll be arrested for far right hate crime.

No actual action ... yet.

The Church ... the God of your childhood ... it's all been in songs on the airwaves, in the music ... all gone away, not fit for purpose, cathedrals becoming mosques or leisure centres ... in a modern idiom of course ... graceless ... brutal. Govt ... the less said the better. The media? Hidden govt portal into your home, your car during its final years, the Message in every waiting room.

Rainbow pride time ... pride in perverted pleasures ... taught to children in schools and libraries ... woof woof. Sodom and Gomorrah.

How far are you just now from a Godfearing, family husband or beloved wife? The happy patter of tiny feet? Is the man the breadwinner, the wife taking care of the home economy ... at home? Why not in each case?

Why in this time of war, were there not at least armed guards, a dozen minimum, at any venue with more than a thousand people there? A shopping centre for example? Not arresting the piano player at the airport piano but eyes on the deathculters? Any guards are trained to look away from real threats now, aren't they ... only look at the harmless as hate crims. Do you see how twisted all this is?

If the last tough generation capable of fighting these Orcs was the war generation, possibly the first half of the boomers ... now far too old to stand up to savages on slaughtering rampages or mass praying in the streets ... what hope subsequent whiny generations? They'll just sit there like the Eloi, won't they? Bewildered to the slaughter. Will Plod or the Milley army defend them? The army's over in the Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, innit?

Time to get real? What chance people will? Before it's too late?

Is it too late?1969 this song came out:

James Highamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14525082702330365464noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6160566690841415782.post-82762818605826537072024-03-23T11:11:00.005+00:002024-03-23T11:24:44.333+00:00It needs roundtables, watchful eyes ...... and reasonably open minds to possibilities, plus archiving what has already been fairly well established.

Political jigsaws are best completed by the collaborative effort of a few, each with his/her own angle, his/her own pet theory ... using a roundtable approach or brainstorming, with a genuine desire to know that which they currently do not.

It's essential that certain groundrules apply in that room ... egos be left at the door upon entering, the contributions perhaps forthright but nevertheless civil. No 10 refused to say what advice officials had given her and whether she actually followed it, but insisted she had “acted in line with established precedent”.

Lame response - find out! Signed, a bill payer.

Kate Sang, a professor at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, sued Donelan for libel after the minister published a letter to UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) in October urging it to cut links with her and another academic, Dr Kamna Patel of University College London.
Donelan expressed her “disgust and outrage” at their appointment to an expert advisory group to Research England on equality, diversity and inclusion.
However, in a statement posted to X on Tuesday, Donelan admitted she was wrong and had misunderstood the social media posts. The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) later said it had paid £15,000 to settle the case without admitting liability, out of public funds.

Take it out of the civil service budget. She cleared it with them.

On Thursday evening it was reported that Donelan’s letter was cleared by her department’s legal team. Politico said civil servants had flagged concerns during the drafting of the letter – to which numerous people, including top officials, contributed – but that the legal team had decided the position was solid.

Not that that stops Labour idiots grandstanding:

The shadow leader of the Commons, Lucy Powell, asked whether Donelan had followed “appropriate advice” that was given to her, or had gone against it. “Because if [she went against it], then surely she should personally pay the costs,” Powell told MPs.

The person responsible for clearing it should pay. Not me and you, eh, Reader?
JuliaMhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07844126589712842477noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6160566690841415782.post-58748946819561760572024-03-21T07:45:00.003+00:002024-03-21T07:45:34.351+00:00Just who are the traitors causing this to happen? This 👇🏻

Goodbye the west we once knew.
James Highamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14525082702330365464noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6160566690841415782.post-2386509380233531672024-03-20T10:00:00.010+00:002024-03-20T10:00:00.134+00:00Not So Much A ‘Radical Flank’, Chris… ...as urban terrorists who are unhinged about global warning nonsense. Just the sort of people you want knowing your address.
Packham, 62, defended the right of environmental activists to target the homes of MPs, as long as their action was “peaceful and non-violent”.

Because that always happens, right, Chris?

“I think that we need a portfolio of protests, basically, because we need a radical flank and Just Stop Oil are seen by many as that radical flank,” he told Times Radio on Monday.“They are the people who in some people’s minds go a step too far. And that might be, you know, standing outside an MP’s house. But the fact is that they are motivated, as I am, by a manifest fear for the health of our future.

“The science tells us we have to act. These people are frightened for my future, for your future, for the future of any children they might have. They need to draw attention to this issue.”

By destroying public art and preventing the emergency services reaching people in need? Well, I suppose it makes as much sense as urging people to buy their eggs from Cambodia rather than Britain...

Packham added that Just Stop Oil “want a rapid just energy transition away from fossil fuels to a healthy, renewable energy system and they need to get that message across, and they’re desperate to do so. So I would support a breadth of protest.”

Which is something they don't appear to have. So, can we see you forgoing your cosy BBC sinecure and glueing your hand to the pavement in future?

“That doesn’t mean that you and I need to go and stand outside MPs houses. I’m taking a legal approach, a perfectly democratic one, which is available to me as a citizen of the UK. But yes, we’re on the same sheet.”

Let's hope you end up in the same cell too then.
JuliaMhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07844126589712842477noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6160566690841415782.post-20960111140133186172024-03-19T11:10:00.000+00:002024-03-19T11:10:08.545+00:00Football, Dylan, and other lunacies

As a young man, I did consider pushing on and going to achieve a University education, but sometimes circumstances overrule plans; so instead went into an Apprenticeship (in the days when that term really meant something) in a mixed factory complex; attended Technical College on a day-release programme to bolster and gain both experience and knowledge. I sometimes wondered what my life would have been like if I had pushed on to a University Degree, but looking back is never going to change things. I chose a British Merchant Navy life, and then I realised exactly how much more I had to learn; because on a ship, all problems electrical come straight to the Electrical Engineer: and you fixed them, because there is no-one else. I don’t regret my choice of life, because otherwise I would not have met the love of my life, we married after I had laid siege to her: we had three kids, a good life, marred only by a mental illness which gripped my love. I lost her after 53 years of marriage; lost her to an NHS hospital which simply did not care; and she was left to die, alone and un-comforted.

But the bitterness eases with time, and life does go on regardless; along with all the foolishness which has come to stand as ‘Just another Lunacy’ to those of us who shake their heads in silent disbelief at the sheer stupidity of many if not most of the ‘Woke’ biblical philosophies which are thrown at us almost every day. I was listening to the BBC Today programme this morning, and a slot came where Bob Dylan’s life and early years was being discussed, and I literally stopped in my tracks at hearing that there was a American University Degree Course in Studying Bob Dylan’s works, music and lyrics: now I always thought that, at my ripe old age, I had heard everything: but hearing lectures about Bob Dylan?

But worse was to follow, because further along in the Today Sports schedule, was a piece about how Nottingham Forest F.C. had been deducted some League points because of financial irregular actions deemed to be outside the norm. The club was said to be appealing against the deduction because it would place them in the Relegation area. Now this must be fascinating to those unfortunates whose religion is Football; but the rest of us? The true lunacy was to follow, as the man asked to comment upon Nottingham’s travails was announced as a Senior Lecturer in Football Finance at Liverpool University.

I rest my case
Grandpa1940http://www.blogger.com/profile/04379051846652593122noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6160566690841415782.post-28156029543389671022024-03-19T08:54:00.002+00:002024-03-19T09:00:51.185+00:00What a wonderful take on the Russians
So true, so perspicacious and so much my times ... at that time, you see, USA/USSR relations were my university research field ... I being anti-Nixon and anti-Watergate, calling for impeachment, fascinated with Segretti, even the evil genius Colson, Dean, anti-Haldeman the Gatekeeper, then Woodstein, G Gordon Liddy, Deep Throat ... ask me about Katie Graham's WaPo. And more widely ... Bill Ayers and the Weathermen whom I admired ... back then.

Then, as Holly Valance said in a recent interview ... we grew up, politically, we were now the Awoken. Mind you, I was always a wag ... even in schooldays I was reported for taking serious things too flippantly ... and still do I confess. Then, as did many student radicals, I got a job and the whole vista of full employment began, spouse, family etc. etc.

Then the visits to America began ... to the west coast, SoCal ... and not LA but further south by 70 miles, plus north ... my field then was Del Mar, Dana Point, Yorba Linda, La Casa Pacifica, Orange County ... I stayed just down the road from Disneyland ... different world altogether ... yep, these were GOP people and I was agreeing with them.

Strangely, I was seeing Nixon in a new light ... the man's grasp of foreign policy was first rate ... but many have said that ... there was just something "real nice" about the people I met ... we'd take a spin to Palm Springs in the Dodge wagon to shop on a 122 degree F day ... and so on.

Different America ... along that coast was the old America of the 40s and 50s ... and it was so nice.

But the clip above is also about Russia, where I lived twelve years and that hard negotiator versus Russian hospitality was big ... they're a big-hearted people, obviously with bad elements among them, just as we are.

Now Putin's the enigma ... yes, he was full on CCCP (in Russian), KGB etc. but the power behind him that propelled him to power were the siloviki ... which actually means the power or force or strength. You don't mess with them. Not to put too fine a point on it ... state mafia.

And one thing they're superhot on is the Old Russia in all its forms ... this was the Russia I saw, with the people who were proud of what they could recall ... just as we are here on our side of politics. I for one can't see what's wrong with a people loving their own country ... not some muddy world-goo.

But something else then happens ... as globo-psycho take over the world with their dystopia, so we discover likeminded people who love their countries as they were. But shirley they would fight each other, would they not? Nope ... we love the Eva Vlaars, the Christine Andersons, the Martin Selners ... we support their fight against psycho-Wokery.

So I'm not inclined to put any of our allies down ... for what to do that? And the cumulative effect is that we're vastly more likely to bring world peace than any lefty ideologues with their faux friendships.
James Highamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14525082702330365464noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6160566690841415782.post-37160865287409796692024-03-18T09:00:00.006+00:002024-03-18T09:00:00.140+00:00I'm Pretty Sure There's A Syndrome Here...Gosh, what's it called? The signatories include Rebecca Rigby, the widow of soldier Lee Rigby who was murdered in south-east London in 2013, and Paul Price, who lost his partner, Elaine McIver, in the Manchester Arena attack in 2017. They caution against comments which play “into the hands of terrorists”.

Like these?

Paul Price, who was badly injured in the Manchester Arena attack in May 2017, said terrorists exploited division, and politicians should focus on what unites communities. “Terrorists want people to take sides and for people to get angry,” he said. “It should be everyone against the terrorists.”

Rebecca Rigby, from West Yorkshire, whose husband Lee was murdered near a barracks in May 2013, said: “Lee’s death was used by some to drive hatred against Muslims in general. That’s not what Lee would have wanted and it’s not what our family wants.

“If we are serious about tackling terrorism the most important thing we can do is differentiate between the vast majority of Muslims who are our peaceful neighbours, and the small number of extremists.”

But what if you've got that ratio wrong, Rebecca? NATO was building important naval bases there in order to fully neutralize Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in the future. It would allow Russia to totally landlock Ukraine, thus ruining NATO’s last remaining puppet-state’s chances of being a military thorn in Russia’s side

2. The above alone would allow Russia to dominate global wheat markets as Ukraine would have little ways to export its grain

3. It would allow Russia to create an unbroken land corridor to Pridnestrovie (Transnistria) which would catalyze into an even greater ‘domino-effect’ collapse of NATO destabilization plans, allowing Russia to totally solve the PMR issue and create a fortress in the region
In short, it’s absolutely apocalyptic for NATO to lose Odessa.

But here’s the problem: all of NATO combined without the U.S. Army cannot defeat Russia. Yes, even bogged down in Ukraine—Russia has now raised an entirely new army group of over 500k men which is enough to take out all of NATO by itself, barring U.S. presence.

However: the U.S. absolutely could not and would not commit its land forces to such a European war effort. Why? Because it would mean totally trapping the entire already-depleted and shrinking U.S. military in this one theater, allowing China to grab Taiwan at its leisure without threat of the U.S. military aiding in any overtly significant way.

Two significant things to remember: only a few NATO states are barking, many others have openly declared no troop involvement, Italy and Germany amongst them. In fact, it’s now coming to light that Germany’s internal claim for not supplying Taurus missiles is because it would require them to place ground troops in Ukraine to administer the missiles, which is a big red line for them.

And the other big thing no one has brought up:

NATO’s infamous Article 5 specifies that mutual defense doctrine is only triggered if NATO troops are attacked on NATO territory.

Can you guess what that means for French troops being hit in Odessa?

That means Macron is walking a very fine line—if he can’t get a coalition to back him in this new drive, he’ll be an emperor with no clothes as French troops would be left alone to face potential Russian strikes, to which they would have no answer whatsoever, and would be wiped out.

Have just read todays article by Larry Johnson criticising the views of a UK 'Elite' propagandist - seems to say it all:

"The lunacy reflected in this piece helps explain why the Brits are so lost as they struggle to come to grips with the fact that Putin is kicking their pompous asses."
James Highamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14525082702330365464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6160566690841415782.post-72699284142864272232024-03-15T09:00:00.003+00:002024-03-15T09:00:00.139+00:00Maybe Reconsider Your Hiring Practices?
A Belmarsh prison officer who derailed a murder trial by investing a false confession after a killer showered her with money and gifts has been jailed for four years and eight months today.

Gosh, maybe employing female foreigners with glamour shots all over their social media isn't such a good idea after all?

Bujko, who has a masters degree in criminology, made the false claim at the behest of Campbell’s co-defendant Mohammed Moshaer Ali, 31, bribing her with ‘money, gifts and promises’, the Old Bailey heard.

You never see male prison officers falling for this, I've noticed.

She claimed she overheard a conversation in the southeast London jail’s healthcare unit between Campbell and another inmate, suggesting he and Antonio Afflick-McLeod, 32, planned to rob Ali of drugs on the day of the killing.

Parents were sent a letter informing them of the decision after attendance was affected by students wearing them.

Headteacher David Collins, of Knole Academy in Sevenoaks, Kent, said students were missing school to have their lashes removed or refusing to attend without them.

The letter said: 'We are increasingly seeing attendance affected by students taking time off to have false eyelashes removed or refusing to attend school through mental health considerations.

'Having students in school is the most important consideration and therefore... we shall allow false eyelashes to be worn as long as they are discreet.'

The lunatics really are running the asylum now.

But one mother, whose daughter, 13, is a pupil at the school, said: 'We're a society being run by children, which I'm not going to stand for. Rules are rules and that's the end of it.'

If only!

She said that in allowing fake eyelashes, the school was encouraging the girls to adopt age-inappropriate looks.
The mother added: 'It's quite worrying because are they going to start getting the attention of older men?'

Probably not in Rochdale, where they like them a lot younger.
JuliaMhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07844126589712842477noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6160566690841415782.post-54142387650636530082024-03-12T07:26:00.005+00:002024-03-12T07:34:09.312+00:00Is it democracy or is it rigged? To some.
The driver was said to have slowed down to let Misbah Sadique, 37, and her friend Kulsum, cross the road. They were close to home in Waltham Forest and felt safe in a part of east London that they knew well. But, as they stepped out, the car in front of them suddenly, inexplicably, accelerated, one of the women later alleged.
It is said that Kulsum was thrown to the ground by the force of the impact and that Misbah was dragged under the vehicle. She claims she was lucky to escape with breaks to her right ankle and foot, ribs and right arm, on top of extensive bruising and abrasions. Three weeks later, she remains in hospital, traumatised and facing a long road to recovery.

The story doesn't mention whther this occurred at a crossing. Which is strange. But the police acted promptly.

The driver, who did not leave the scene, gave a statement by the side of the road and the police have categorised what happened as a road traffic incident. No arrests were made.

Just one of those things. But wait!

But Misbah and Kulsum had both been wearing hijabs.

Aha! The game (of victimhood) is afoot!

Misbah, who has given a statement to the police in recent days, is calling, with the support of her family and the charity, The Islamophobia Response Unit, for the incident on 1 February to be further investigated as a potential hate crime.

Well, sorry, but they already did. And found no evidence of that at all.

The Met said officers did open a hate crime investigation in response to concerns raised with them. “However, our investigation – including viewing of CCTV – leads us to believe that the women were not in any way deliberately targeted,” said Ch Supt Simon Crick, who is in charge of policing Waltham Forest.

“This was an unfortunate road traffic collision.”

The police said they had asked specialists to review the case as well but that they had come to the same conclusion.

QED? Well, no, Reader, of course not.

But that Misbah should consider someone capable of running her down purely due to her faith might be in itself be regarded as a damning insight into modern Britain.

Well, it's a damning insight into something, all right.

The report on tackling post-pandemic education inequalities, part of a project funded by the Nuffield Foundation to be published next month, is to recommend an overhaul of the school calendar that could see summer holidays in state schools reduced from six weeks to four, while half-term breaks in autumn and winter could each be extended from one week to two.

The holiday firms will have to scramble to readjust all their pricing if it is taken up!

Lee Elliot Major, professor of social mobility at the University of Exeter and one of the report’s authors, said reforming the academic calendar in England would be an effective and low-cost way of tackling the educational divides that have grown since the pandemic.

“Spreading school holidays more evenly across the year makes complete educational sense: improving the wellbeing of pupils and the working lives of teachers at no extra cost, balancing out childcare costs for parents, and potentially boosting academic results for many children,” Major said.

For those saying we should at least give it a try....we have.

Under Gove, free schools and academies were given more freedom to set their own calendars. But those adopting more radical timetables soon gave up in the face of opposition from parents and an inability to coordinate term dates with other schools.

But is that a reason not to try it on a much grander scale? For this failing government, almost certainly not. Like a drowning man, they are likely to clutch at anything.
JuliaMhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07844126589712842477noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6160566690841415782.post-70790089704608715702024-03-07T08:53:00.004+00:002024-03-07T14:55:24.937+00:00The utter nutter tree hatersThere are so many things happening right now … by design of these utter nutters … and whilst horrific in themselves, each and every one of em, a testament to their diseased minds and lost humanity … certain outrages strike very deeply under our guard.

In my own mind, and please don’t think I’m downplaying any atrocity whatsoever … but with some … well, they didn’t exactly help themselves, did they? There was one yesterday on X and I’d have preferred not to see but it had a comparative … two pictures one beside the other. One was all these women in binbags with pillarboxslots to see out of … and the other was two starkers girls tanning the backsides … must have been sub 20, so I clicked not interested.

The best thing I can say is that if those two Norwegian girls also had that mindset (I’ve no idea if they did or not), then no wonder those Moroccans, by their own lights, their own rules, were always going to do as they did. If you think this is excusing the horror … no … and if you think the New Age revels in southern Israel were sufficent grounds to rape and slaughter … also no.

My thang (sic) is that all of these were disasters waiting to happen, just like memorials to deathcult soldiers that Hunt knew very well would infuriate us. The whole thing of all these cases is that they ranged from sheer stupidity to deliberate provocation.

Having said all that above … how about this:

Every single watcher knew exactly what that was about … so why the disingenuity of this council? More to the point … why? To what end?

Well I’ll put this … in Lord of the Rings, at the end, what upset the ragtag most on their return to Hobbiton? Yep … the cutting down of the great tree in the square. There is nothing whateveraccidental in this hate nature thing. And where’s the gaia save the rainforests now?

What sort of criminal insanity makes you hate trees so much that you want rows of stumps for people … a bit like amuptating people so they have to walk around on stumps? I’m suggesting both ideas are just as sicko.

And the Sycamore Gap tree? Why? Newly grown pine forests for timber? Yes, we can argue that out. But Sycamore Gap?

Truly, if you cannot see the insane hatred in whoever is ordering these things … then are you being wilfully blind?

And the eternal question … how to bleedin well stop these bstds?

James Highamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14525082702330365464noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6160566690841415782.post-8295750048266335252024-03-06T10:00:00.007+00:002024-03-06T10:00:00.136+00:00Well, We Don't Teach Latin Anymore......so to a modern teacher, 'in loco parentis' is probably all Greek to them.
'Upon arrival my partner found Chloe who was surrounded by six teachers, but no police presence or paramedics at that time.

'The left side of Chloe's face was plastered in blood.

'My partner questioned the staff as to why we were never called about the incident and to inform us that our daughter had been stabbed.
'Their response was that they presumed somebody had already called us.

You know what happens when you assume, don't you?

'They also said that they also wanted to establish the truth before notifying the police. Two police officers did eventually arrive.

Wait, what? You're not detectives. A child has been assaulted and is bleeding, this is no time to get your Sherlock Holmes on. Leave it to the professionals,

'This is absolutely appalling. The Wordsley School (Ed: motto: Our school is defined by its culture and ethos – 'the way things happen'.) needs to be held accountable for its major failings

'We are absolutely distraught that this has happened to our daughter. We do not feel that our children are safe to return to school.

'The school do not seem able to provide us with answers as to why they have failed us.'

We can guess one thing now, and one only: all their efforts are being diverted to excuse their actions.

'They said the lad had been escorted off the premises and was currently making his way home. To me that's a dangerous thing to do.'

Well, quite. He's been arrested and released on bail. The cops at least know their jobs.

Ashley Weatherhogg, headteacher at Wordsley School, said: 'An incident took place in school yesterday afternoon, which is being dealt with through the school's behaviour policy.

'The school is now following the normal procedures and carrying out a full investigation.'

Ahhh, 'procedures'. As long as those are followed, even if they run contrary to common sense, everything will be fine.
JuliaMhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07844126589712842477noreply@blogger.com3
