Zaghari-Ratcliffe and another British-Iranian dual national, Anoush Ashoori, who was detained in Tehran in 2017, boarded a plane from Mehrabad International Airport after the deal was struck. A third dual national, Morad Tahbaz, is set to be released from prison on furlough shortly.

The breakthrough came after extensive diplomacy that secured the release of the three dual nationals and led to agreement to repay the debt in a way that complies with U.K. and international sanctions. Britain agreed to pay Iran 393.8 million pounds ($515.5 million), which will be ring-fenced so the money can only be used for humanitarian purposes. The British government declined to offer details of the arrangement.

While London has refused to acknowledge a link between the debt and the detention of the dual nationals, Zaghari-Ratcliffe’s husband has been outspoken in arguing that Iran was holding her hostage to force Britain to pay.

I see the 'diplomacy' of the british government that triggered the release of this dupe was actually the forced repayment of £400m stolen from the Iranians years ago. Honesty in politicians? - some hope!

My thoughts:

As it says in the heading, is debt cancelled if the regime ordering something is no longer the regime receiving?

You'd imagine it is. But what did he have to say for himself? 

Baker did not offer any defence, attend the hearing or get a solicitor to represent him.

I'm sure he'll be all better by February... 

She's not wrong

I am not a pacifist and nor are any fighting this war which the lady herself is involved in.  Yes, she is speaking of war where we take on Globocabal itself and its institutions such as the EU.

She's referring to atrocities, dirty warfare, the type carried out by Globocabal and Ukraine militia, such as the strike on Donetsk centre.  No military value, just civilians.  Are the Russians any cleaner?

Yes, in this case they are, and for good reason, which is why it is taking so long.  You think Russkie MOABs could not wipe out most of the Ukraine/US militias?  But they can't do that because even though GloboMSM is flat out lying, the hearts and minds the Russians need to win are eastern Ukrainian.  Mao understood that on the long march - you carry the locals with you and it's an easier road.

Same thing in Ottawa with the truckers and all the civic service they were doing, crime rate down etc.  Just stands to reason.  Globocabal know this and their MSM are going full bore getting the normies and karens whose reality is the tele and talkback radio to get on board.

I heard something sickening - at a concert a friend of mine went to on the weekend, the conductor got everyone to stand for the Ukrainian flag.  Yes, it was 'for Ukraine' but the flag was present.  In other words, those people were standing in support of Globoterror, just as all the kneelers in sport were de facto for BLM terrorists.

From the very start, when the Ukrainian tank went out of control and crushed that car, it's been nothing but lies - fortunately we have our own footage in the alt-media these days.  Were it the other way, e.g. Russia in Afghanistan, then this post would have been considerably different.  But it's not that way this time, with the scrutiny of the world upon the Ukraine and therefore most dissident social media is telling it as it is.

Plus it's tied in with the coming crash or rather the new alt-Bretton-Woods, the new global currency.  Do we stay with Rothschild Globocabal fiat ... or chance our own metals and barter living, backed by gold?

Worried children at a primary school in the most polluted area of a community have appealed to parents and carers to help them cut damaging fumes by walking and biking and not keeping vehicles running.

Out of the blue? They all just decided this off their own bat? 

Head boy Henry King said: “Year six students at Bedale Primary School have been getting increasingly worried. This issue is going to get bigger if we don’t act now. We can’t do it alone, we need your help.

“Our concern over this problem was created during a scientific lesson with Dr Matt Sawyer about the human body. He told us about the effect air pollution has on our bodies and we were really shocked. Health problems like asthma, heart and lung problems.”

Ah! Of course not. Yet more indoctrination.  

“We want none of this to happen to our students. We were shown a map colour coded to the worst areas of air pollution in Bedale. Firby Road and Benkhill Drive were a deep red; our school was surrounded by pollution. This is not good for our students' health. Here is how you can help.

“When you are in your car, don’t have it running, all of the exhaust fumes go into one place. Also, by not using your car, money on fuel and possibly someone's life could be saved. Walking, scooting and biking places is healthier for you and the environment. We can save the environment, one step at a time.”

OK, Henry. No more being driven to after school activities in Mummy's Volvo. No more crisps and yoghurt in the larder and fridge when you get back, either, Mummy's not allowed to go to the shops to replenish supplies.

These people are so kind to themselves

There's a part of Three Days of the Condor, near the end, where Robert Redford says, exasperated, to Higgins, 'Geez, you guys are kind to yourselves, aren't you?'  to which Higgins responds, 'Look, we play games, the other side plays games ...'

Reason I mention it is the very iffy Toby Young at Daily Sceptic, excusing everyone at high level, absolving them of blame by means of speaking of 'curate's eggs' and they do it by a timeworn method, which ties in with something written in the post before.

Uh huh.  So, having absolved govt of blame via the curate's egg gambit, they feel free to run a damning indictment of one or two aspects, thereby deflecting blame to SAGE itself and Johnson.  In other words, protecting the real miscreants as ever.

But as Vlad across the way pointed out, this has nothing to do with one country or one country's govt, it's directly against the Globocabal and Vlad is in a position to act, by taking the country off the Venetian/Rothschild founded fiat standard and onto the Chinese yen after physically hitting their resources within countries close to Russia, geographically.

See, it's a very simple shibboleth or litmus test to determine where people are, politically.  There is the Cuckservative-play-libertarianism which assigns good motives to all these Build Back Better merchants, in a vaguely 'we makes our own choices on everything' way, très bourgeois, citoyens ... and then there are those actually awake to the wider world, who've taken the red pill in Matrix terms and can see beyond that into past and future machinations ... keep an eye on the new climate 2030 scam.

And that is the political divide now ... Woke versus woke.

That unit I'd label insidious but of course, it all depends on the history of one's reading over a couple of decades as to how you'd characterise it.  

A disclaimer - this in no way ropes in AKH, Julia, Grandpa or CM over at OoL, they by no means endorse what I write below and I could understand them sighing and wondering about guilt by association, which would be a misplaced conclusion.  All right?

Your angle is slightly different, AKH, but it boils down to the same thing - manipulation - and to this end, years ago I ran a post on groupthink, NLP, all of that, which is what nudging is all about.   

Sounds innocuous, which it's meant to be until one looks at the source, well over a century old, the rabbithole in the UK being Chatham House, thence Internet of all things, Demos, Tavistock, and the creation of the illusion that we decide in a state of free choice.  Tell that one to advertisers.

The only thing left is the individual's decision as to whether this is legit or insidious.

But Do You Want Them To Learn About Everything, Troy?

The footballer Troy Deeney is launching an impassioned plea for more widespread teaching of black, Asian and minority ethnic experiences by schools in England, to help combat racism and give children “a balanced and inclusive understanding” of Britain.

'Balanced'..? Really? I suspect that that's the last thing he really wants. 

“I have seen more and more how important it is for my children to be able to see themselves represented in what they are being taught, and learn about the contribution and background of people who look like them,” Deeney said.

“The importance of education at an early age to inform identity and combat racist beliefs and stereotypes cannot be understated.”

As I suspected. What 'stereotypes' do you want to combat, I wonder? The stereotypes of black footballers as barely human savages given far too much money but unable to disguise their basic natures? The stereotype of black people as fools who see 'the enemy' even when the police are trying to help them catch the murderer of one of their own?

“As my mum always says to me, you can’t understand where you’re going if you don’t understand where you’ve come from. Whether it’s too late for my generation, we need to lay a pathway for longer-lasting change for our kids as I believe the current system is failing children from ethnic minorities,” Deeney said.

How, exactly, is it failing children? How did you do at school? 

He was excluded from school at the age of 15 and left without any qualifications. Later, as a professional footballer, he studied and passed GCSEs in English, maths and science.

Say no more. Maybe if young black children aspired to do more with their lives than kick a ball (or their cat!) around, it'd be a start, eh? 

Circumventing the NHS App

Saw an item in passing on the egregious NHS App and how it is being rolled out, possibly, as the front door to all NHS services.  Item was on Legiron's Twitter.  As I'm banned from Twitter, I can't access it.

Nor shall I get the app for any reason.  The devil is, of course, in the detail and it remains to be seen how it can be circumvented.  Ideally, we'd wish to remain n8 or n9 in the cull queue.
