...and the people who should know better than to pander to them:
The Great North Museum (GNM) in Newcastle has come under fire for refusing to loan certain pieces for display purposes in case they are seen by females.
Female staff working at the museum may also be prevented from handling certain artefacts, such as secret-sacred Australian Aboriginal objects, in case this offends the culture from which they originated.
Anyone remember that scene in 'Crocodile Dundee' when the aboriginal man uses a cellphone to contact Mick Dundee, who has tried to contact him using a bullroarer? I couldn't help but think of it reading this, and wondering if they think some tribal elder is Googling 'Newcastle' right now...
But the move has sparked fury among Newcastle residents, who branded it 'PC gone mad' and accused the museum of not maintaining 'our cultural standard' of treating men and women equally.
Others claimed it was 'hypocritical' of the museum to enforce such measures seeing as they 'shouldn't have these items in the first place'.
Good point, outraged Geordies! The museum itself is pooh-poohing the very idea!
A Tyne & Wear Archives and Museums spokesperson said: 'Like many museums in the UK, the Great North Museum: Hancock cares for objects in its collections that are sensitive in nature. These include sacred and non-sacred objects from countries and communities around the world.
'To ensure that we manage these collections legally and ethically, several policies govern our work, including our Sacred Objects policy. This policy has been publicly accessible on the Museum website since 2018.
'We work in accordance with this policy on a case-by-case basis. However, no items have been removed from display, nor are any planned to be removed, and we have not been approached by any museums, institutions, or cultural groups about borrowing or viewing sacred objects. Therefore, no action has been taken whatsoever.'
This morning, I write as a seasoned observer of the American political scene, of the main players; and of how Mainland America is served by both those players, and the news media which is supposed to tell America what is being said and done in their name.
There must be thousands of observers such as I who watched in silence as the slow but steady decline of President Biden’s faculties became apparent, from many social media channels, but none of this was ever recorded or published by any one of the American Mainstream Media, loyal as they always have been to the Democratic Party.
If CNN or ABC News had broadcast even the hints of Sleepy Joe’s erratic speech and behaviour earlier, America would at least have been warned of even the whisper of a problem within the Biden White House.
But no, the big boys of broadcast and print stayed loyally silent, we who knew some of the truth were ignored, and America knew little of the landslide which was poised to fall upon the Democratic Party, and its President who was also it’s Nominee for the next Election. Given a well-ordered and well-written speech, aided by both teleprompters and wi-fi earphones, Joe Biden managed to carry off many visits and activities, but the hesitations, the strange silences were being noticed, but always they were played down and excused.
And then came the first Presidential Debate, between ex-President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden. And here we were told that the rules laid out by the broadcaster CNN were to be followed, with muted microphones preventing cross-talking, and the Debate moderators being from CNN. Trump’s demand that Joe be subjected to a check to see if he’d been given drugs was waved away, as was the demand that the President’s ears be examined for wi-fi earphones.
The awful truth about the extent of Joe Biden’s mental problems became apparent almost immediately, with the incoherent ramblings of what was immediately seen as a man who was suffering from some form of senile dementia came blasting through the t.v screens and speakers of an estimated 51.7 million people, with countless millions more watching the streamed content. CNN’s debate rules even benefited Trump, as he was forced to remain silent during Joe’s rambling answers, as all he had to do was keep a straight face, and bend his head so as to view the wreckage from the other podium.
The demands for a changed Nominee began about seven milliseconds after the debate ended, and the call have become ever more vociferous, as some House Democrats and now a Democratic Senate have made their wishes known. It is unlikely to see a change, as the President’s wife has got used to the White House bedrooms, as well as the use of Air Force One. No-one has actually asked her, as an unelected anything, where she got the authority to sit in the Presidential jet, as well as to deliver speeches in her husband’s name: but maybe someone will remind her that she ain’t the Boss: well, just maybe.
But here’s the question which I am fairly certain no-one so far has had the sheer audacity to ask. When will the whole of Mainstream Media, all the talking heads and so-called knowledgeable one, admit that they had seen the slow onset of Joe Biden’s problems, and had decided that America should not know of the crisis which was descending onto President Biden’s shoulders?
No, this is the new definition of 'not welcome', no-one's actively blocking them...
“Tennis,” a head coach from a prestigious club in Surrey casually remarked to me, “will never have a Marcus Rashford.”
The throwaway comment was made at a sparsely attended coaching forum on diversity in tennis in 2022. Less than six months later, I was at Surrey’s under-9 girls’ county cup with nine-year-old Sabein Weldegebriel, whose mother is from Ethiopia. I coach her in a park next to a south London council estate.
Sabein’s success at getting to county level should give me hope that the head coach was wrong, but having been in this sport for 20 years, it is hard for me not to agree with him.
Perhaps instead of asking yourself 'Is he right or wrong?' you should maybe ask yourself 'Why should the colour of a person's skin matter more than whether or not they are a good player?' Chris...
Because the costs of becoming a professional tennis player are prohibitive to most kids, and the tennis establishment does very little to nurture talent in the way sports like football do.
Is this something charity could do instead? Yes, Reader, it is...and it's doing that.
Sabein has had 100 hours of unpaid lessons with me over the past 12 months. We spotted her talent straight away when she came to G Tennis (grassroots tennis) about four years ago. A local charity that supports single parents, the Cheer Trust paid for initial group sessions, but the rest G Tennis has provided for free.
There’s no one less reverent than us across the cyberway … we call out anyone, even Trump, even Farage, even Le Pen …
… but, but, but, chaps and chapesses …
… there does come a time where we have to pull our head in, hold our noses if need be … look, it’s like this, as you well know. Obscene majorities for communism, just as with Allende in Chile and whomever it was in Venezuela … similar banana republics to the UK, US and France.
As one Xer put it … those majorities were built on sand, on corruption, on going sgainst the people as a whole. Look at the overall elugible voting percentages.
Any bright spots? Yes there are … DJT in the US is stirring it up, so is Le Pen, p,us Nigel here. You needn’t list Nigel’s shortcomings … we know them …
… but, but, but …
… there does come a time for … I hate to call it “solidarity” … very, very difficult for unherdable cats as we are. The structure needs to be built upon this five way foundation:
For the sake of each of these nations, their grassroots trad parties/groups seriously need our loyalty for a few years now. And they themselves need to work their constituencies, make contact with locals, work hard.
The only way, short of violence, that our voices can prevail.
...and look at the result! When David Lammy opens his mouth, his brain falls out and lies quivering on the desk. And yet he's now Foreign Secretary!
And as for Diane Abbott, if she has one brain cell, it's very lonely.
The Commons is reluctant to reform itself, but it badly needs it. Now we supposedly know who the next government will be, voters, at least in marginal seats, should select their MPs as individuals, not loyal party members. They should judge them for intelligence, radicalism and independence – qualities likely to be in very short supply.
Indeed so. So perhaps if people no longer vote tribally, and actually read up on the candidates in front of them, we'll see an improvement in quality?
Are Dick and those officers still at large? When will all of them be taken into custody? When will Blair be taken into custody for that and other atrocities?
There was a post run at my and my colleagues' main site across the way on calculating the square root of a number "by hand" ... bear with me a minute here.
The lesson was that you could not get it exact via decimals but you can get close enough to establish "likelihood" via an old long division method. The method is tried and true, many might remember but it's flaws are firstly that it's exhaustive and exhausting, requiring due diligence and good memory, also multitasking whilst at the same time being able to focus on the one thing to the exclusion of others.
In other words, it's juggling contradictory skills and requirements to arrive at the nearest solution as dammit. Trouble is, this is maths, therefore many associate that with precision and "one only" answers. Life teaches that that's seldom the case, certainly in politics ... things are never as they exactly seem, often because they're not meant to show the reality.
So long time ferreters start to follow fail-safes and I'm doing that with two people ... one a pre-WEFer and the other here now ... Michael Heaver. Plus here.
As I plan to post his video below, my very first move is therefore to check him out, even if I think I know him ... plus things change over time. Plus checking things out can be a confirmation just as much as a debunking. Plus applying "the method" is good discipline and good scholars have good discipline.
First step is usually Wiki, which is a known-known for its left or woke bias ... early in, we get "far right", a trigger word, we get Infowars, also a trigger as Sandy Hook has by no means been established according to Jones's fine ... i.e. it's still very much "a thing", not explained.
Second is if I'm calling him Michael or Heaver or Mr. Heaver or that loony or that perspicacious young man of 35 in 2024 ... a dead giveaway as to the author's position. Plus that in itself is fraught ... I, as a pundit with my own views, am commenting on a guy who's commenting in a video on a phenomenon which has only really just come to light for most people ... for us pundits, it's a timely reminder to apply the method every single time, no exceptions ... it gets quicker with experience ... be wary of a priori assumptions ... when these are our own, we can show "confirmation bias", oft an error producer before we even start.
The best literary representation of "the method" was Conan Doyle's Holmes.
Third is the language I use ... what are my buzz words, what are his?
Fourth is to go straight for a negative question on ggl or other search engine ... know their biases too. With an actress, try xxxx is a slut or couch or even try a modern 304. "Respectable" people would be horrified at this advice but we're in the business here of finding out, using often hostile and algorithm biased search rngines to our own advantage. Don't just enter the name and take it as read, don't just enter a positive coz all you'll get back is eulogies ... confirmation bias. If you must use Snopes, know that anything anti-Woke will be slanted from him.
If you've drawn a blank on exhaustive sets of negatives about the man, then proceed with caution ... run the video, noting the bias up front before even starting:
If yiu truly have done your due diligence, then be aware that not everyone has and thus it's an uneven playing field, with goalposts changing the whole time, as in that square root finder mentioned at the start of this post.
Lastly on "the method" ... what of your own capacity to understand? Affected by age, life upbringing, experiences, health level, sleep, personality ... are you sombre and pedantic or flitting all over the place? Are you subconsciously following an agenda? Did you actually apply ALL the method above? Have I left any steps out?
Right ... after all that ... the massive bias towards the red v blue rosettes in parliamentary politics ...
Well of course there bleedin' well is ... they've had centuries to hone it, Swift wrote on it, so have others. There's always a third, ineffective party to pretend there's real choice. Look at our one ... Davey and his post office scandal.
Someone loses his or her seat? Give him a go g, kick him upstairs and make him an unelected minister of state, secretary of state. And last moment PPC parachuting in? And the whole notion of deep state anyway?
Bear all of it in mind above, then evaluate Nige's lot before his first speech ... will he ask the hard questions? Will he be allowed? Will he be squeezed iut like a Bridgen?
Early days. 🍿🍿🍿
The French
There is no better coverage of the French election than here:
If there’s one topic on which there’s so much hand-me-down prejudice emanating directly from our “ruling class” since at least the Crimean War, it’s that Russia per se is our natural enemy.
The complication is the Bolshevik CCCP or USSR … what was said about that (see Yuri Bezmenov), being quite true.
The average older Russian of the 1990s was quite proud of the Red Army. How do I know? Twelve years in the area, hearing them.
But then a third type of Russia arose, which enabled me to live there and it’s such a mix of different forces, elements … from straight Russian pride in country to the incursion of modern western Wokery.
What is the current Russia afraid of? Two things … Vostock or the east, meaning China/Japan and in the other direction … the US close to the Russian border … specifically US agencies such as NATO and the CIA. And you can’t blame Russia for that, given the reverse situation in October, 1962 … Cuba, Bay of Pigs, Kruschev, Kennedy etc.
The southern geopolitical area … the deathcult republics and nations … are handled by strategic alliances, hence good relations with Turkey and Iran.
What’s Russia aiming to protect in it’s immediate backyard, that is … the Ukraine or the nearest border state? Just look at the map of the region yourself:
The Russians have always wanted the Mariupol corridor from Rostov down to Odessa. Problem is that Odessa itself is hostile, particularly since groups such as Azov battalion marauded freely there, with CIA NATO backing and funding.
Let’s bring these two in at this point:
Not just beyond the Ukraine but past specific points within the Ukraine … there is a thing called topography, defendable areas, plus those requiring vadtly more resources. The Dnieper River is a natural boundary, with buffer zone north-west. The two Donbass republics, largely Russian speaking, are two others. The natural resources of those areas too.
And so the political map sorts itself out as to what Russia wants. For example, why would Russia go further west than the Donbass border area? Simple … CIA NATO Zelensky has the bunkered saltmines full of weaponry, transport, from where, Hamas style, they’ve been shelling towns in the Donbass daily.
The source of the rockets must militarily be taken out. Why not just take out Kiev? Here you need to know history … Kiev is the birthplace of the tribe Russ … it’s every Russian’s ancestors’ graves. CIA NATO Zelensky know that full well, as do all the corrupt leaders from Biden to Boris Johnson.
Why are they even there, CIA NATO, apart from the official military strategic threat to Russia? Well the money laundering centre of Europe, biolabs and human experimentation, child trafficking and abuse … mega trillions of dollars/Euros. The corrupt western leadership (WEF etc.) must get their cash from somewhere to implement their Wokery.
Is Russia angelic? Is Putin a saint? Of course not … Russia is a nation, innit, the UK is, the US … are they perfect? Of course not … every single nation has it’s good, its bad.
But it IS a nation. Now, brother Ukraine would also be seen as a sovereign nation by Russia, were CIA NATO in there doing their hostile worst. Let’s just say Belgium turned on the UK, massive resources, child trafficking, bristling militarily and every day they shell Dover, London, Colchester, Ipswich, defence bases there. What would Britain do? Just happily accept daily destruction of its infrastructure?
Would it hell … it would take out Belgium. No nation is going to tolerate enemy on the doorstep … it’s disingenuous to suggest otherwise. “Invader!” would scream the EU and everyone trying to get a rise out of Britain. Utter BS … Britain would be defending herself.
Ditto Russia in the western parts of the Ukraine. Does that make me a Putin lover? If that’s your line, you really need to take a closer look at yourself.
Germany might be renowned for its cleanliness and order, but the nation’s toilets seem to tell a different story. In 2023, one study found that half of German school students would rather hold it in than relieve themselves in the school loos. But no more. The first German School Toilet Summit was held this month to tackle the issue.
You're using them for conference seating! Try putting them in public toilets and plumbing them in, dumb Krauts!
To make toilets more appealing to young people, the German Toilet Organization awarded prizes totalling €50,000 (£42,000) to school pupils with the most innovative suggestions for improving the hygiene of public facilities.
You can have that suggestion for free, kinder.
You might scoff at our European neighbours, who have a reputation for speaking plainly about bowel movements, sitting down to wee (even the men) and examining their own “fecal health”, aided by the country’s Flachspüler, or in-shelf toilets. But they’ve got the right idea in getting young people to consider the grossness of public conveniences.
Shared toilets, as anyone online knows, have become a focal point in the culture wars. They show up the most obvious difference between the sexes.
Because the people waging the war don't believe in those differences.
They also, very importantly, show us the divide between the decent upstanding citizens of the world and the absolutely feral miscreants.
At a former workplace, a mystery unflushable poo became something of legend, partly because it had been left there, in the unisex loos, with an entire metal fork wedged into it.
Lovely!
...my firm belief is that the higher quality provision we’re given, the better we’ll behave in and around them.
Well, that's an expectation that has yet to run up against reality...
