The childlike ... sweeties or right little chuckies?

There's a thing called childish, which includes potty humour, sulking and so on ... then there's "childlike", which is values-free, neither good nor bad ... at least in a person who's of child age, say eight years old.

If you glance at the email feed below from tech magazine Wired, glance lower right to the iphone holding a drawing ... look at the drawing ... it's that of a child, yes? I mean, it's hardly one you'd see in world renowned galleries, cathedrals etc. as the finest art Mankind has produced ... hardly Sistine Chapel, is it?

Frankly, whoever drew that is a child ... at least in the mind. Eight years old? I'd say more likely to be twenty-eight ... but retarded.  

I agree that retarded is an insulting description, so let me soften it by saying "politically childlike" instead ... the type of person who is sophisticated in tech wizardry all right ... quite adult in that respect ... but politically ... oh dear ... prime fodder for ideological kool-aid ... the type of person who appears with cattle like nose-rings and blue hair in order to be "individual" (think Python) ... then goes out and glues himself to a road in front of traffic.

A child in other words who sees big bad far-righters as the enemy driving their cars to work when their own handed-down ideas on climate are vastly more important than other people's daily lives ... a big game where all sorts of shenanigans such as Demonrat crooked judges are quite ok coz they've identified Bad Man and you hate him, you hate him, you hate him, the big horrid monster, make him go away, mummy and it's quite ok to technically rig voting machines and create AI to lie coz they're all Bad Men anyway and it's all in a good cause and oh dear, I'm going to have to go out and hug a tree, crooning kumbaya and lighting a candle.

She can be forgiven of course because she's sided with the sane ... you know ... families, working people, those not on benefits paying mortgages ... that sort of person, the sort who has not the time to march for Hamas every third day and desecrate memorials to heroes of the past, national monuments ... the sort who never shoots swans nor breaks shop windows coz they have to make us understand that exploding EVs are the future and we say beastly things, don't we and the Woke hate us, they hate us, big brutes that we are when they're so sweet, loving and childlike, wouldn't hurt a Gates mosquito.
