Jamie Oliver Must Have A New TV Show Or Book Out...

Why do you say that, Ambush?

Three-quarters of secondary schools in England are breaking the rules on food offered to pupils by serving chips, burgers and hash browns too often – and sweets and crisps at breakfast time, according to a report. “Shocking” breaches of school food standards have been exposed on Monday, in a new analysis of the food provided at almost 400 state secondaries undertaken by Bite Back, a food charity set up by the chef Jamie Oliver.

Yup, Bound to want some publicity for something... 🙄

Three out of four menus it analysed at 391 state secondary schools in England contained at least one breach of the standards. Most involved schools offering unhealthy foods more often than is allowed. At 206 schools (53%), products high in fat, sugar or salt that are meant to be banned altogether – such as crisps, Oreos, Mini Cheddars, chocolate bars and pastries – were being offered to pupils to buy as snacks, including at breakfast time and at lunchtime.

The horror! Children allowed to buy sweets! Whatever next?

These findings are very alarming and expose a system that is fundamentally failing our children,” said Williams. “It is shocking to find crisps and chocolate being pushed at breakfast time or processed meats like sausage rolls and bacon baps being served far more frequently than the rules allow.

In most schools in inner-city Britain in 2026, there won't actually be a lot of takers for pork and bacon...

“Young people have been telling us for years that their school food is ‘beige, bland and boring’ and now we have more evidence that they are being surrounded by unhealthy food throughout the school day

If they are telling you one thing amd doing another, you've been had!

“Schools should be a sanctuary for health and learning, yet the current postcode lottery of food quality is undermining that mission.”

Shame - go find something else to do. Something worthwhile, rather than free publicity for a multi millionaire.

Notting Hill Filth Fest report

There’s an interesting Libertarian question here. Some of us, you see, are more classical liberal, meaning that there’s such a thing as integrity, decency, normal limits, society’s trad underpinnings … so not, for example, murder of full term babies for their parts, rape of underage girls by gangs et al. There were, long ago in the west, some sort of at least lip service limits.

The “middling” Libertarian is more liberal … do all the above but “find a room”, don’t inflict your paedo rape on us … we don’t wish to know, what we can’t see can’t hurt us..

Then there is the sort of “Libertarian” we saw at the Filth Fest … anything at all with any age, any sex, any race, any species, Modern Plod too … from debauchery to rape to slaughter … you can force anything you want on anyone you want to hurt. I have a different word for that … Licentiousness. Sodom and Gomorrah. Moloch.

Which historic events do we finally cease to commemorate?

 Beslan commemorated

One year ago, I asked the question … for how long do we commemorate? Hastings, Agincourt? Trafalgar? Custer’s last stand? The Light Brigade? Armistice Day? D Day? ANZAC Day?

Beslan?

The Message Isn't Getting Through...

...because local experienced reality keeps interfering:
The public overestimate how many minority ethnic people are killers, as well as how many foreign national offenders there are, a new study has found.

Well, well, well....

The research from King’s College London tested knowledge and perceptions of crime at a time when radical right parties are trying to link offending to ethnicity and nationality to gain votes. YouGov’s survey of 1,800 people in England and Wales found that people thought 55% of convicted killers were from an ethnic minority, when the real percentage is 35%. They also thought just 45% of homicides were committed by white people, when the real figure is 64%.

And this is treated as a great revelation instead of asking 'then if we already have murderers and rapists in the population, why would we want to import more?'

The academics who conducted the survey said feelings about levels of crime and who was to blame were a reflection of people’s emotions, rather than the facts.

Academics who, I suspect, don't - and wouldn't - live in the areas blighted by diversity.

Prof Bobby Duffy, of King’s College, said: “There are two buckets of explanations for our misperceptions: how we think and what we’re told
“On the former, it’s vital to recognise that misperceptions are partly driven by what we’re worried about. Cause and effect run in both directions, where we inflate the scale of an issue if it’s something we’re concerned about

And we are rightly concerned about the importation of hordes of Third Worlders who we know nothing about.

“Reform supporters’ higher concern about immigration and diversity … will mean they’re more likely to give attention and weight to things they see that fit with that view, including crimes being committed by those groups
“On what we’re told, they’re also more likely to be seeing media, social media and political communications that emphasise those examples.”

Ah, yes, just as 'global warming' is behind every spell of bad weather, or even good weather, so social media is the bogeyman lurking behind the curtain in every area the Left wishes us to forget about.

Duffy also highlighted that respondents’ views coincided more with people their own age rather than their own ethnicity. “For example, gen Z puts the white share of homicide convictions at 58%, whereas baby boomers put it at 35%. But white and non-white respondents give almost identical answers,” he said.

Heh! Hardly surprising when they are the victims of crime as often as not.

Duffy said: “Our misperceptions are more of a general emotional reaction than careful study of the facts – we’re sending messages about what’s worrying us.”

Ineed we are - so start listening! Because if you don't, then as the song goes 'There maybe trouble ahead...'

Personal independence

My question about this might not be the one you'd expect.

Yes, of course I agree with the general thrust of the item but I have another question … and our oldest member across the way might like to answer it … what’s an 89 year old man (trudging, walking stick) doing driving in today’s nightmare conditions? Not only this:

… but also the danger to girls and the elderly out there, even with spray or walking stick … they attack in packs, the cowards, inc. the new feral yoof. Plus we do start slowing down … fine at our own pace but that’s not the pace that lot are going at in their manic digital world.

Plus one does NOT wish to see the inside of a hospital or care home … you all know why.

On the other hand, independence, freedom, which is the core reason for Orphans (the site) to exist by the way, is fiercely protected as Them move to remove it … I for one can understand that.

The guiding principle of the Red Blue Green Yellow Teal Uniparty is taqiyya

Why are potential Restore voters truly implacable, which becomes the single, most formidable, irreconcilable difference, though with Reform voters’ more strategic, “bend one’s principles if it will just get rid of LibLabCon stance” mindset, they can only fail to understand that this “split the vote” argument is a nothingburger to anyone Restore … it’s just theatre for the duped.

Or We Could Stop Employing Obvious Wrong 'Uns To Work In Them

For seven years, my youngest constituents were abused at Bright Horizons nursery in West Hampstead, London. Earlier this year, Vincent Chan was jailed for 18 years for his horrific crimes. It is every parent’s worst nightmare to discover that their child has been subject to abuse. For this to have happened in a nursery, where parents trusted their children would be safe, is truly abhorrent.
A group of 200 locally affected parents have come together to call for mandatory CCTV in nurseries, as well as requiring Ofsted to review such footage in all inspections.

*sigh*

I can see why they would think that, but it's a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Better hiring practices unaffected by identity politics and the need to tick boxes to ensure 'representation'  and greater staff-to- child ratio would be  better options, except of course the latter would impact the profits for nursery owners.

Together we have met the previous education secretary and the previous early years minister, and gave evidence to an expert panel to assess the feasibility of mandatory CCTV in nurseries. With none of these ministers still in post, we must not lose momentum.

Of course, if those ministers had been effective in their job. they might still be doing it.

With 20,000 reports of serious childcare incidents in English nurseries in the past five years, we need mandatory CCTV to tackle this.
Babies and toddlers are the most vulnerable people in our society, and we must do all we can to protect them from harm.

Who is leading this charge? Why, none other than:

Tulip Siddiq MP Labour, Hampstead and Highgate

A convicted criminal who should be extradited to Pakistan to serve her sentence. Bit cheeky of her to call attention to other MPs no longer in post. Parents, if you want CCTV in nurseries, choose a better champions, eh?

The era of either great courage ... or perishing

Before starting … yes, this is going up also at sites UHC and Jstack. The key reason is that both OoL and Jstack have placed obstacles in the way of composing. Ggl Blgr will not let me load media … neither picture nor video … but there is a way to do it involving putting it at one of the other sites first. WP has compositional issues too in its new format and Jstack is near useless, plus videos can’t be loaded at all there.

In no particular order, this is the sort of thing those in power are hellbent on … this is from Lord Toby’s Daily Scep today:

It’s disappointing to hear that the best summer of my entire life might be over. But 50 millimetres? A whole month’s rain in a just few hours. This got my attention with a jolt, just as it was supposed to.

The Met Office also warns:

The rain returns with a vengeance this week. Whilst rain is welcome for many, for others it brings the risk of torrential downpours, flash flooding, lightning and hail. How has the atmosphere switched so dramatically? Watch this week’s Deep Dive with Aidan ðŸ‘‡

Vengeance, you say? This sounds bad. It also sounds like personification.

Yes … this is the crew of false data readers, Net Zero freaks, of whom much has been written of late. Then we have this issue, summed up by the lady I call Everywoman, very middle Britain but with a brain:

Actually, she is not “Everywoman” … she’s way above them. Look at those deadheads in the States, celebrating the murder of babies … Yuri Bezmenov in the mid 80s made the point that the State reduces people to bickering divisions, fighting one another as intended by the subversive State, people simply unable to reason, to distinguish fact from fiction.

This media below might work at HQ, not sure it will work at OoL and shan’t even try at Jstack.

It can be found HERE.

I happen to know, personally, coz official organisations have been writing to me that major issues are coming up in September, so it’s certainly underway. Preppers told us years ago to get the water tanks ready in the ground, get the dried foods and some tins (cans) sorted … have you done that?

Well in this new property-theft communism we’re under, rentals or street life are the two options, with employment no longer safe … and Woke employment too at that … comply or be fired.

The retired? Do you remember Gordon Brown? Same today … deadheads voting Labour, Tory or Green.

Ah, Reform? Laila Ahmed El-Meleigy is their candidate against Khannot for the Milsum Mayor of London, completing its Birminghamisation, Manchesterisation, let alone Bradford. And you still think Nige is a lovely boy, a Great Patriot, coz he mouths platitudes the party gang detect? By the way, who did pay him five million, say no more? We’ll find out in November perhaps.

Choices for us, the common herd? Continue complying, playing nicely-nicely, otherwise we are arrested? Non-compliance, which takes great courage, even in the seemingly easy stance of non-cooperation? True Christians, not the cult-church nor woke-church variety, can find solace there if their faith is strong.

Then there are the fighting men housed in every town and village. Why, with weapons stashes in houses of prayer which will remain unnamed? About the only reaction totally useless now for us:

Yes, we’ve entered, I’m afraid, the era of either great courage … or perishing.

'Penal Populism' Is A Hit With The Voters, Polly

An astounding change is happening to life in England and Wales that most people don’t know about, and when they are told they don’t believe it. Most crime, including violence, has fallen by a remarkable 90% over the past 30 years. But only 6% of people believe it, while 61% think crime is going up.

Dear old Polly, always reliably wrong. Here she presents facts on crime, assuming that because the numbers are lower than people imagine, we will all say, 'Ok, OK, that's all right then'...

This great denial is the background cause of the prison overflow crisis, as politicians (of all parties) stir up voters to demand ever higher sentences as the imaginary cure to their imaginary soaring crime.

No one in politics needs to 'stir up voters'. quite the opposite, they are letting criminals go free in clear defiance of the electorate's wishes, and they'll pay a high prices for it at the ballot box.

All western European countries enjoy this same remarkable social improvement, with research over decades offering myriad reasons why: populations spending longer in education, CCTV, better security for cars and homes, and young people staying at home to play video games of fantasy crime instead of entertaining themselves with the real thing. Removing brain-harming lead from petrol and abortion of unwanted foetuses at risk of future child neglect are other possible explanations.

The Left's anwer to so mamy social issues seems to be to kill peiople, doesn'y it?

This generation inhabits a far less violent society, with many fewer homicides, thefts, burglaries and serious violent crimes, but also far less casual social violence in brawls and punch-ups. Older folk nostalgic for an orderly golden age when no one bothered locking their front door usually situate it just beyond their own memories, in their grandparents’ halcyon days. But radical social change leads to less acceptance of any violence. Online fraud and cybercrime are the ones that are steeply rising, though they are committed by quite different criminals.

We rather doubt this, if the statistics are saying this, we wonder how they are being manipulated to give the 'right' answer.

Single landmark horror cases – from the Moors murderers to Fred West and Axel Rudakubana – are seared for ever into the nation’s collective nightmares. Too often these freak incidents drive our sentencing policy.

As they should do.

It’s happening again in the case of two of those responsible for the heartrending death of PC Andrew Harper. Harper’s family, and every chief constable in England and Wales, protested vigorously that they were due to be released under new rules after serving only half of their 13-year manslaughter sentences.
But anything singling out these men will be challenged in court. Blocking early release for all those imprisoned for manslaughter would fill too many cells: besides, that’s rough justice when some have sentences of one year, others for 24 years or life.

The true rough justice is that these murderers are breathing at all; they deserved the death penalty.

The law is set by parliament for independent courts to apply, regardless of politics: look at Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump or Viktor Orbán for examples of those who break that democratic principle. We should be uneasy at our government declaring publicly that it is chasing after a way to bend laws to lock up two particular offenders.

But we aren't. We are happy that for once they are listening to the electorate.

Las Malvinas Son Argentinas

As most know, I have no interest in Sports, and most definitely None in Football. If 22 young, very fit young men earn their living chasing an inflated leather ball around a large grass pitch, excite many, I am left stone, icy cold.

But, I have to admit, many millions of Brits do follow this strange ideal, and follow their ‘Team’ with an almost religious fervor.

Every four years, the many thousands following their nation’s teams in this United Kingdom spend huge sums of sparse cash in travel and ticket expenses, just to watch and support their Team; all in the faint hope that THIS TIME, their hopes and indeed their anguish will be rewarded with success. Indeed, in England’s ONLY success in 1966’s World Cup, this whole country was flying that Union Flag with almost no dissenters.

But now, fast forward to the present day, the Nation watched as THEIR team, some 60 years after that famous victory, get beaten by their fiercest rivals Argentina in one of the CUP Semi-finals.

Although I did not watch the match, I did read many of the reports which described the actions of those Argentinian as almost criminal in their lack of sportsmanship and in foul play.

But the actions I since both watched and read about happened after the final whistle blew, giving Argentina the win.

Two of the Argentinian players grabbed a banner from Argentinian supporters which held the grossly offensive (to British eyes) term Las Malvinas Son Argentinas, which translates as THE FALKLAND ISLANDS ARE ARGENTINIAN. Four of those Argentinian Players held to that banner, in what had to be a grossly political offense to ALL British people, knowing that some 255 British military personnel died in that short but vicious conflict around those windswept Islands.

Some commentators favour banning Argentina from the next  World Cup, many demand individual bans against the players who took part in that grossly offensive banner waving.

Myself, I would require a statement from the Argentinian President, apologising for the gross insult given our War Dead, and the withdrawal of Work Visas against the four or five so-called players who took part in that true Insult to the brave men who, by their own sacrifice, helped restore the Falklands to their rightful place as a British Overseas Territory.
