My Jacqueline……………..An Update
The Ombudsman itself is suffering from a bad case of Covid-delay syndrome, with many months forecast for any decision to be arrived at, but I received notification that they have ‘partially’ upheld my complaint, and have told the Trust to apologise to me for the grief and anguish I sustained, now some two years ago.
I will advise on the outcome; but doubt if mere words will suffice.

The Word 'Could' Is Doing A Lot Of Heavy Lifting Here...
Foreigners who commit anti-Semitic or other hate crimes could lose their visas.Ha ha ha ha ha ha! No, go on, tell us another!
Ministers are looking at stepping up deportations of hatemongers after a surge in incidents amid the Gaza conflict.
'Stepping up', eh? Well, that won't be too hard, since they've been dragging their feet for years.
Home Office officials are able to weigh up evidence against individuals and boot them out even if they have not been convicted but their presence in this country is still judged to be 'not conducive to the public good'.
Able they may be, but the crucial question is, are they willing...?
Labour's Sir Keir Starmer said there had been a 'disgusting rise' in anti-Semitism since the Hamas outrage along with an 'appalling surge' in Islamophobia with mosques 'forced to ramp up security'.
And that's just in your own ranks, eh?

Am I entitled to compensation from Twitter?
Am I entitled to compensation for wrongful removal, damage to reputation, i.e. defamation, plus restrictive trade practices by Twitter as it was in Dorsey days … over Fentanyl Floyd?

If they refuse to listen ... shut the place down
I'm Fine With This...
Women in childbirth are being offered an injection of water instead of the traditional 'gas and air' – in a bid to make the NHS more environmentally friendly.
It's a brave nurse or midwife who's going to suggest that nonsense to a woman in labour!
...the NHS has warned that using Entonox in Scotland is 'equivalent to 18,000 transatlantic flights'.
Scotland? Yes. You expect such insanity there. But you shouldn't expect it to stray this side of the border. surely?
The Scottish Government previously wrote to all health boards with a plan suggesting women should be discouraged from using Entonox for the good of the planet.
And yet...
Last week, watchdog the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) backed the use of sterile water in England.
*sighs*
However, during a consultation on the treatment, the Obstetric Anaesthetists' Association wrote: 'What possible biological plausible explanation is there for benefit with intracutaneous or subcutaneous injections of water in volumes of 0.1 to 0.4mls?
'Because it is cheap and unlikely to cause harm is an inadequate justification for a recommendation, especially as NICE does not recommend other similar non-pharmacological therapies such as acupuncture and hypnosis.'
I fear you're fighting a losing battle. I don't think biology is uppermost in the NHS anymore...

What does “told to” actually mean, legally in the UK?
Consider this at TDS today:
As with all draconian legislation … formerly EU directive, now WEF, WHO, UN & EU directive, disguised as Sunak’s decision, which comes to the same thing anyway … the devil is in the fine wording … what does “told to” actually mean, in terms of strongarm enforcement?
“Rishi Sunak has been urged to shut down … etc.”
“The Government pushed back against the findings, insisting that the gas network would “always be part of our energy system” ”
Tories pre-election. One of the comments below the article:
But the point is that developing countries will not adopt this madness. Rather they will continue to us e and consume fossils fuels while they laugh at the UK and the collective West immiserating themselves chasing a pointless and unachievable goal . This is just pure bloody madness and the UN Agenda 2030 is behind all this .
I’m assuming I too will be dead by 2050 … and the 2030 targets, e.g. on cars and 15 minute city surveillance … are marginal to me, personally … at this moment.
Cold comfort to others across the land, esp. the young still driving to work. The most vital issue is how far Armitt is just showing willing, in order for borrowed money to keep rolling in … or is it actually something he’s a fanatic over? A bit like Midazolam Matt grinning as he killed off the elderly and otherwise ill.
In short … need we personally worry at this stage?

Open Up Another Cell...
...and put those who freed him in it.
A Jack the Ripper obsessive who tried to kill a pensioner in a barbaric riverside knife attack had been freed after a warning he posed an imminent risk of 'serious injury and potentially death', a court has heard.
It's the only thing that will work. After all, all those reports that judges call for clearly mean nothing...
Anthony Roberts was jailed for life with a minimum term of 28 years and nine months on Tuesday by a judge who said the circumstances of the 56-year-old's release 'were for others to examine'.
Examine, and actually act on. There needs to be consequences for failure.
The court was told Roberts, of Green Hill, Worcester, has a chromosomal disorder and was diagnosed with an 'untreatable' psychopathic personality disorder in 1993.
Passing sentence, Mrs Justice Ellenbogen said she had read six parole assessment reports written in 2013, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2021. The final report in May 2021, the judge said, found that Roberts - who absconded from prison in 2019 - posed a risk of harm specific to females aged 16-30 and of 'serious injury and potential death of any female victim'.
'She (the report's author) assessed the risk as imminent and high,' the judge added.
And what do those tasked with oversight say? Would you believe, Reader, the usual?
A Ministry of Justice spokesperson said: 'This was a despicable crime and our heartfelt sympathies are with the victim and their family.
'A Serious Further Offence review is underway to establish the full facts of the case and it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.'
Ah, a review. More cosy make-work for the State's apparatchiks.
