What does “told to” actually mean, legally in the UK?

Consider this at TDS today:

https://dailysceptic.org/2023/10/18/shut-down-britains-gas-network-roll-out-heat-pumps-and-ban-all-private-vehicles-from-cities-government-told-by-national-infrastructure-commission/

As with all draconian legislation … formerly EU directive, now WEF, WHO, UN & EU directive, disguised as Sunak’s decision, which comes to the same thing anyway … the devil is in the fine wording … what does “told to” actually mean, in terms of strongarm enforcement?

“Rishi Sunak has been urged to shut down … etc.”

“The Government pushed back against the findings, insisting that the gas network would “always be part of our energy system” ”

Tories pre-election. One of the comments below the article:

But the point is that developing countries will not adopt this madness. Rather they will continue to us e and consume fossils fuels while they laugh at the UK and the collective West immiserating themselves chasing a pointless and unachievable goal . This is just pure bloody madness and the UN Agenda 2030 is behind all this .

I’m assuming I too will be dead by 2050 … and the 2030 targets, e.g. on cars and 15 minute city surveillance … are marginal to me, personally … at this moment.

Cold comfort to others across the land, esp. the young still driving to work.  The most vital issue is how far Armitt is just showing willing, in order for borrowed money to keep rolling in … or is it actually something he’s a fanatic over?  A bit like Midazolam Matt grinning as he killed off the elderly and otherwise ill.

In short … need we personally worry at this stage?

  1. I long for the time when the government is told to defund all the NGs, Think Tanks and University departments that are formulating and promoting these policies. And do as they are told for a change.
I long for the time when our government withdraws from the UN, the WEF, the WHO and all the other unelected dictatorial institutions, and remove from the Civil Service all those who are crypto-communists and openly declared communists such as (remember him?) Ollie Robins.
In fact, I thought that communists were not permitted to be in the Civil Service but either I am mistaken or that prohibition has been quietly dropped.

  2. Most of us won't personally feel the impact of all this but many of us are concerned for the future and this includes our children.

So yes I'm concerned and Yes I will do whatever I feel is right to stop this. At the moment it is fighting against the mass of the sheep but they are awakening and have been for some time. I personally believe we in the UK will continue to bend over and spread our cheeks but once the US kicks off so will the rest of us.
