What do the MSM actually report these days?

If we have to report the news?

When the father is neglected by the mother

Andrea Widburg, at American Thinker, wrote:

In 1870, Harper's Bazaar published a picture of Cornelia, Mother of the Gracchi, hugging her children as she said to a sneering, jewelry-bedecked Roman matron, "These are my jewels."  The picture fascinated me as a child, especially when I learned that the boys grew up to become famous politicians and philanthropists in pre-Christian Rome. (Because this was Rome, neither ended well, but that's another story.) Reading about the late Ivana Trump's life, I was reminded of Cornelia's words and thought they apply as well to Ivana.
She compared it to the dysfunctional Biden family, one of the dozens blighting the world and whilst Andrea is right 80% of the way, she's completely forgotten one minor factor ... the father ... the final 20%.

He's either a nothing in the mix or just an adjunct who provides, nothing more.

With that sort of attitude, welcome to single motherhood on the settlement of the divorce or on government [read taxpayer] handout, an aberration on every count possible.  What that Widburg is demonstrating to her children is that the father does not matter.  And yet she demands full commitment from him in perpetuity.  So tell me again who breaks down marriages?  And what are the stats on who initiates divorces, male-female?  Hmmmm?

Compare that to two videos below, plus a quote from a ladyfriend of mine:

First video:

The most unusual thing there is a mother of four, very much with hubby, is so pro men.  I confess that what she says, all very nice for us, is not the most vital part.  The most vital part is THAT she would even think to make such a video in the first place.  Can you imagine Ms Widburg doung that, let alone the third wave child feminazis?

Second video:

This is sad, because anyone neglected ... whether a forgotten wife at home while hubby puts it about with the females or a neglected father ... whichever it is, either way ... the neglected party is going to sing a song like that.

The third item is taken from something a ladyfriend of mine said and I hasten to add that she is as pro man as Christy in video one above and that's a vital thing.  Not sure who said it first and I absolutely agree with this.  We all mock the demi-female harpies howling their Woke demands and we all laugh at their ban on nooky which we all fervently pray they'll continue ...

... but what of the low quality of men today?  They're either Woke wimps in the workplace with wispy beards or full death cult bushes, they're full on MGTOW or there's something quite wrong.

A fellow gabber  @gigigirau83 provides all the evidence we need. She mentions that she goes running with a group of retired navy seals ... quick calculation shows they retire early but the point is ... why that pool of guys, why not Mr. Smug Clever Punk with his Woke ideas?  No brainer, eh?

Both those ladies, plus Christy in video one are right but I'd suggest that at least 20% of the guilt for that is laid right at the feet of the sex which initiates 71% of the divorces today.

Now, instead of us bickering or bantering over who, to which percentage point, is to blame, let's look at how we can make men men again and make women ladies.

Remember, Cornelia's sons in the quote from Ms Andrea are watching and learning just how much father cares for mother or mother cares for father.  Not the words, the actuality.

The two leading lights, last time I looked

Penny Mordor

All of nature's danger signals present.  What's worse are the alternatives.  Sunpak?  For crying out loud.

Someone said, not long ago, that such a person, even before exploring, shows all the signs of being on a mission for herself, devoid of firm principles, slave to the greasy pole.

But what's the alternative?  And look at last time ... Theresa blinking May?  Leadsome and then more?  The quality of these Westminster women is abysmal.

Further [general] reflection by AKH:
My overall impression was of a society drowning in pap. Not a new impression of course, but it did reinforce a familiar issue - mainstream pap won’t get us anywhere. Yet pap has a power all of its own which should not be underestimated. To many people, anything which strays too far from pap seems extreme. Stray too far and not enough people are listening. Mainstream pap is genuinely powerful.

Mysterious Weather Phenomenon...

The annual event, which is Europe’s biggest free beach festival, was due to take place on Sunday, July 3. However, due to adverse weather, the event was cancelled.
Event organisers originally pushed the start time back until 12.45pm, but later confirmed the Big Paddle event would not be taking place.

Sunday 3rd July? The weather was great! What was the concern?

“Our water safety team have been monitoring the weather conditions all morning hoping that conditions would be okay.
“We have been hanging on in the hope we could go ahead, so our sincere apologies if you have already left home.
“Thank you for supporting our event and we hope to see you all next year.”

But nowhere do you explain what the issue was...

So we go to comments!

Seems the readers are as baffled as me!

Stranger and stranger...

Is this a clue? Who knows! It's not like we can expect journalists to ask the hard questions, is it?

La Fête Nationale de France

My own comment on la Fête Nationale is in the post on Nantes here ... a bloodied shame upon France from the aristocracy down to the lowest sans-culotte wandering about slaughtering with vindictiveness, in turn to be slaughtered.  No wonder they changed it to La Place de la Concorde in Paris.  And it's coming up again in France.

Yet again, the British get no say in who 'governs' them

There are two issues which leapt off a page sent by a reader.

One is an unbelievable GOP primary comeback, which was also seen in the UK in Call Me's day via "parachuting" in preselection, hence the appalling range of candidates for PM today as well ..... and another issue was that university professor going mental over Senator Hawley's assertion that men cannot have babies.

Julia can look at the male female issue here, plus I've laid the foundations already across the way at N.O., so instead shall look at the pointlessness of voting at this current time.

Someone on Gab called SP wrote:

The UK prime ministerial race is a good example of how globalists control the Overton Window: The Left plays offense while the controlled opposition pseudo-Right plays defense.

Leftists propose some insane policy, like teaching gender ideology to toddlers.
Then, the pseudo-Right declares that "the Left has gone too far this time!" and swoops in to save the day by proposing a diluted version of the exact same policy: Teaching gender ideology to kids is fine as long as they are over ten-years-old.

Both sides embrace the core tenants of globalism that were legally enshrined during the Civil Rights Revolution (immigration, multiracialism, equality, LGBT, feminism, etc.
They only disagree on how forcefully these ideals should be imposed, so the "progress" never ends.

In this case, the "anti-woke" trojan horse is used to trick Right-Wing Britons into embracing their own ethnic displacement and humiliation by foreign minority rule.

I went through the list posted at Guido's and the offered selection has to be the worst of the worst ... it's also the way the Tories have kept the show on the road mid-term for ages - replace the leader and offer goodies just before an election.

Result is, effectively, a PMship race devoid of any input from people of the UK, reinforced by the global communist Starmer as the alternative.  Why should there even be a red blue two horse race in the first place?

How to cut this knot?

Only One In Four..?

I'd have put it a lot higher if asked to guess...

One in four councils is promoting ‘highly contentious’ race theories in schools, a major report warns today. Town halls are using controversial terms including ‘white privilege’ and ‘unconscious bias’ in teacher training materials, research has found.

If only our 'conservative' government were as interested in this as they are in fighting like rabid weasels to get into the top spot, eh?

Tony Sewell, who led last year’s landmark government inquiry into racism that was castigated by the Left, added: ‘As I found as chair of the Commission for Ethnic and Racial Disparities, and as this work underlines, it is increasingly apparent that a single, contentious interpretation of anti-racism has taken hold across many of our country’s institutions. Uncovering the ideological drift in schools is of vital importance both for creating a more balanced discussion on race, and for protecting the integrity of education itself.’

Oh, Tony, I think the integrity of education is a lost cause. Don't you?

DDU began investigating after learning that Brighton & Hove City Council was recommending pupils as young as five be taught that they are either racists or victims.
Or in the case of cricketer Azeem Rafiq, both!

Good advice for anyone posting or commenting on a blog

By Semper Vigilat on Gab:

“We caution everyone to be very careful when viewing or sharing any content from Hunter Biden’s iCloud account. Please be aware that sharing content, especially Child Porn is illegal regardless of the context.
This particularly refers to Biden H photographing Natalie Biden [daughter of Beau and Hallie Biden] on all fours, near naked, cocaine up her nose.

Thank you.

Too Little, Too Late Again...

Health chiefs will cull up to 8,000 non-frontline NHS jobs as part of a clampdown on 'waste and wokery' in the health service.
NHS England chief executive Amanda Pritchard revealed plans to cut between 30 to 40 per cent of jobs at a trio of health bodies by 2024.

How long have the 'conservatives' been in power? Why are they only just getting around to this now..?

The move will see between 6,000 and 8,000 of the 20,000 jobs at NHS Digital and Health Education England (HEE), which is in charge of training the workforce.
The two central bodies are being merged with NHS England in an effort to reduce duplicating roles and save up to £1billion over five years.

How is it possible that they were ever set up under the noses of successive Health Ministers in the first place? Did no-one have their eye on the ball?

Previous efforts to slash bureaucracy and doubling up of roles in the NHS have cost the taxpayer billions in pay-offs only for the health service to rehire them.

This time, put the stake through the heart AND cut off the head and stuff the mouth with garlic, just to be sure...
