The outgoing head of the UK Border Force has triggered a political row by describing ‘bloody borders’ as ‘just such a pain in the bloody a***’.
Paul Lincoln’s incendiary remarks – made in a speech to mark his departure as director general of the Border Force...It always is, isn't it?
Like the Army general who lays into the modernisation programme while keeping his mouth shut and his pension growing until retirement day. You only get their real thoughts and character when you aren't paying them any more.
Mr Lincoln, who left his position last month as part of a shake-up by Home Secretary Priti Patel...It seems she's doing something, after all, then! But will it be enough?
How many more of these commie creatures are lurking within our public service bodies? I think many more than anyone wants to admit.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason this treasonous individual is being removed is because Mrs Patel is feeling some pressure to make the Border Service to its job.
I think there is a pressing need to have a criminal investigation of all our public bodies, perhaps along the lines of the Joseph McCarthy hearings and trials in the US on the 1950s. And weed out as many of the fifth column traitors as possible. And do it quickly because the press will relently malign the investigations and those carrying out the investigations and criminal proceedings, to force the government to stop them, as happened in the US.
A dose of McCarthy style purges would be nice but what's the betting they'd get a Dave Spart MBE to do the job? Finding a decent, honourable person high enough up the greasy pole is going to be rather difficult.
DeleteThere's a reason that it's called 'the long march through the institutions'. And I don't think they've come to parade rest just yet, either...
