 As could have been predicted, when I promised (threatened?) a post on Saturday on “fakery”, a second on Sunday about “inversion” and a third today which is more or less a look at issues facing us in the west …

… I should have known something would come up which soc-med is talking about heatedly … Fauci and the Mengele Establishment … plus the Massachusetts evil just perpetrated on abortion … plus the latest Restore/Reform horror.

One of the reasons I join Julia at Orphans, as well as running four other sites is that we just can’t cover everything happening at the one site … not with readers also contributing major pieces, videos etc.

I’m going to cover the Massachusetts evil at UHC-HQ this morning and keep the various bits and pieces on Fauci for Thursday morning here. Meanwhile, that summary from a pundit downunder on the state of the west now:

The crucial phrase above imho is “took me way too long to admit”. But why did it take so long? Why can people not see straight through Farage?

Sometimes A Cigar Is Just A Cigar....

...reading about the left-on-left battle at Master Poulet, a French chicken chain that just opened its first UK branch, I found myself mulling a question that felt more than a little personal: am I chicken shop left? OK, OK, this might just be a me problem. I’ve always had an interest in chicken shops. Maybe it’s personal: chicken shops, offering cheap halal takes on mainstream fare, have long been a pursuit of south Asian immigrants who hoped, like my own family, for a better life in this brave new world (talk about a wing and a prayer). But they are also bound up in Black British youth culture: neighbourhood incubators for music, affordable places to hang, landmarks of “the ends”. Chicken shops tell the story of a mixed, working-class Britain, with all its whimsy.

’Working class’? Are you sure? Mostly favoured by imported immigrant youth for whom a days work is not something to be looked for…

Back in April, Karim Bouamrane, the Socialist party (PS) mayor of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, near Paris, tried to block a Master Poulet branch that had opened outside the town hall. Literally, with concrete blocks at the doors. A court ordered them removed, so he swapped them for giant colourful plant pots. The shop responded with quippy signs (“we are open … no offence to Karim”, read one), delighting French social media with this meta game of chicken. Bouamrane insisted it was all about quality of life, as late deliveries and cooking smells disturbed residents. Not everyone was convinced.

It's not so surprising in France, unlike the English, they are proud of their food culture and not about to see it swamped by foreign cultures. 

Saint-Ouen has transformed in recent years, not least due to regeneration pegged to the Paris Olympics. Critics accuse the mayor of overseeing a gentrification drive that has seen property prices surge, arguing that’s his real issue: he wants to chase out cheap food (and the sorts of people who eat it).

And that is, after all, the very purpose of gentrification whether one seeks it in France or England. Remove the troublesome population and the surroundings become much more pleasant as a result.

Which may explain why politicians from the further-left La France Insoumise (LFI), have waded in, questioning whether Islamophobia and classism are at play, and accusing the mayor of abusing his power. One MP visited the shop in solidarity. His name? Éric Coquerel. I’ll just leave that there.

To be clear, I am far from an expert on French politics.

This is the 'Guardian', you don't need to be. They don't require anyone to know what they are talking about....

So am I part of the chicken shop left? I don’t know, maybe. But perhaps that’s the wrong question. After the almighty flap over Master Poulet, I’m left feeling that politics should be less “ruling the roost” and more “birds of a feather”. Especially with a far-right fox prowling outside the henhouse.

Yesterday looked at fakery, today inversion, on Tuesday will be a summary of these days by Melinda Richards. And so to AI Amelia…

“The city is not built for heat,” said Josie Ashdown, a lead manager at the homelessness charity Thames Reach. “You can feel that the concrete makes it hotter here than probably anywhere else in the country at points, and there’s hardly any tree cover.”

As London endures repeated heatwaves fuelled by the climate crisis, outreach teams are offering extra support to those most at risk – handing out water, carrying out welfare checks and directing people to cool spaces. 

Why would they need to hand out water? Hasn't Mayor Khan provided them?

Scientists have estimated that the May and June heatwaves in England and Wales killed 2,700 people.

Many of the tents beneath an underpass in London were empty when the Guardian visited. Their occupants had probably left in search of water, work or somewhere cooler, Ashdown said. But for the record numbers of people like Tom who are sleeping rough, escaping the heat is rarely straightforward.

“If you’re relying on begging to earn money, you don’t have much choice to leave,” said Leggat. “You have to sit outside, often in the sun and usually in hot urban environments.”

With the welfare state providing for you, why would you need to beg? 

Often people have to carry all their belongings with them, including winter clothing they cannot safely store. Anneke Ziemen, a service manager for the Thames Reach rapid response team, recalled one man who was still dressed for cold weather during the heatwaves. 

“He said: ‘When winter comes, I need my clothes. I can’t have anyone steal them.’ It makes sense, but it’s also going to be 34 degrees and you are literally cooking yourself.”

And here we see a reason why some people will always be homeless, indeed why, even in they are provided with housing, it often doesn't work and they wind up on the streets again within a few weeks or months. 

Ashdown said: “There have been a couple of people this year that we’ve got our eye on, in terms of whether they have the capacity to make decisions around the heat, because it makes people so much more vulnerable.”

They don't have the capacity to make decisions. About anything. And that's the core of the problem.

I went for a recent, rare, doctor visit and the nurse had not asked about the ethnicity of the doctor I was to see … however, she did mention that my assigned doc was a woman. Er yes? And what? Is there something I’m missing here? She turned out to be a local lass in her late 20s. I was a happy patient. Of our ethnic stock … maybe 95% home country around our parts.

Make Up Your Mind?!

Almost three-quarters of riverbanks in England have no public access, according to data released by the Right to Roam campaign.Across the country, the public cannot use riverbanks or gain access to the rivers themselves in most of the river catchments from the west of Cornwall up to the Tweed, which flows through northern England and Scotland.

But it was only in the last two months you were warning everyone what potential deathtraps they were!

Lewis Winks, an environmental social scientist from Right to Roam, who led the research, said: “Access to rivers should be a basic right, yet the vast majority remain off limits. As we continue to experience extreme heat, it’s vital the public are able to draw from the benefits that water brings.”

Like death..? Or if you’re lucky, just Wiel’s disease or salmonella? 

Kate Rew, from the Outdoor Swimming Society, said in 20 years time she wanted to see living rivers across England, with people free to reach them to swim, paddle, walk and spend time by the water. “Being part of the natural world makes us healthier, happier and more alive,” said Rew.

Some of us more alive, not all!

We might have been bemused, the cynical amongst us maybsee it all as Grand Theatre designed to distract, the whole thing is bizarre.

And CC? Suddenly, she has lost much support. Firstly, she posed with scumbag Obama, having always shown “love all” leftist tendencies since always. But the killer with the publuc was this:

Yes, it’s symptomatic, is it not, of the entire Fabian Woke hegemony today, pushed by powerful cabals, backed by endless resources. For a purpose, an agenda.

He Doesn't Need To - The System Has Bent Over Backwards For Him

A lawyer for the families of the children murdered by Southport killer Axel Rudakubana has said his transfer from prison to a psychiatric hospital may be an attempt to "manipulate the system".

You don't need to do that for a system that has coddled and protected you at every turn, beginning with armed police taking you alive, through to senior politicians perpetuating lies about your race and religion to a compliant and unquestioning press, ending with them swallowing without question what you told them.

On Thursday, he was moved from HMP Belmarsh to Broadmoor psychiatric hospital in Berkshire. Prisoners who are considered to present a risk to staff, inmates or themselves because of mental disorders can be moved to hospital under the Mental Health Act.

He's proven to be a risk to others by assaulting a prison officer with boiling water. Has he faced any punishment for that?

In May 2025, Rudakubana allegedly attacked a prison officer with boiling water. An investigation is ongoing.

Oh, I feel a year is long enough to have decided, eh? And, probably because of the publicity, a charge was forthcoming, finally.

Lawyer Chris Walker, who represents the three bereaved families, said they "don't believe the merits" of the transfer on the basis of a mental health issue and is calling for more information from ministers.

Why? It'll just be lies. Again. 

"In my mind this is a new event, this is something which occurred whilst he was at prison, and we at this stage don't believe the merits of it in terms of him because I've seen no evidence at all until today which suggests he has a significant mental health disorder," Walker told BBC Radio 4's Today programme.He added: "We do have an evil person but being evil does not mean that you're suffering with psychosis of some sort. 

"We need to know is this a single event, is this a recurring event, is this him playing the system and we need those answers."

He hsas no need to play a system that is working in his favour!  

Under the Mental Health Act, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is likely to have had no choice but to accept doctors' recommendations about whether Rudakubana could be held safely in prison.The law requires he be transferred back to prison when he no longer requires treatment in hospital. His sentence is not being converted into a "hospital order", which would mean he stayed at Broadmoor.

It won't matter whether they had a choice or not, they are only too glad to have a chance to kick this particular can down the road for a little bit.
