First, Admit We Have A Problem...

...and then admit WHY we have that problem!
Schools and colleges in England will be expected to take a tougher stance against antisemitism after a report found that three out of five Jewish students said they had been affected.

I thought all schools had to drink from the ‘racism is bad’ cup, why should this one be tolerated in them?

Sir David Bell, the former chief inspector of Ofsted who was commissioned by the government to lead the independent review, said he found many cases of antisemitism going unreported or unchallenged by students and teachers.

Is it coming entirely from pupils, or could it be the staff members are also a problem? After all, the NHS is infested with them, could it be schools haven’t escaped the infiltration?

The government is expected to accept the review’s 27 recommendations, including provision of resources to tackle antisemitism in schools, dedicated teacher training in antisemitism awareness and a national hotline where school leaders can quickly get advice on tackling antisemitism.

Well, quite, what good is the training in the first place if you have to specify that this also falls under the category?

Bell added there needs to be stronger guidance on political impartiality for schools so that students can “debate topical and difficult issues without feeling that teachers are imposing their own views on students”.

Perish the thought! But wait, don’t we encourage that?
