The father of an 18-year-old school pupil who died after the meningitis outbreak in Kent said his family’s devastation is “immeasurable” as he called for better protection for young people.
What sort of protection?
Along with the Meningitis Research Foundation, Kenny and his family are calling for the UK to take urgent action to improve access to the MenB vaccination for teenagers and young people.“Juliette’s impact on this world must be lasting change. Now is the time to ensure families are safe from the impact of meningitis B.”
Well, I don't suppose you'll be clamoring to halt the importation of people from the parts of the world where its most prevalent, then?
You have just lost your daughter in unexpected circumstances a few days ago and before she is buried and grieved over you are chatting to the press giving them access to a private photograph and calling for systemic change in society.
ReplyDeleteMore fishy than Billingsgate.
Invented moniker Monica.
It’s a ploy to get more to roll up their sleeves again to be injected with god knows what toxins. It is a scare tactic approved by pharmaceutical companies. Fear sells.
DeleteGod forbid she didn't die of multiple resistant TB, or polio, or measles, or leprosy. All of which have been imported into the UK by immigrants.
ReplyDeleteIt's only a matter of time before the big E comes a-calling.
Don't give them ideas Mark! Mind you, they've been quiet about that one for a while, maybe it's time to resurrect it.
