Government are killing industry and with it the economy and our country. They talk of using A.I. but that consumes huge amounts of electrical energy. We're on a knife edge and close to blackouts as it is, so where is the energy coming from to power A.I. systems? If Fusion becomes a thing, then where is the industry to provide the specialist alloys required for containment of such huge temperatures? Ah, I suppose we buy them in from abroad. So how would that help OUR economy? If we resort to Molten Salt fission reactors, the same goes: who is there in the UK that can develop and produce items in the specialist alloys required? Globalism is great as long as you accept everyone will flatline and no country will have the ability to drag themselves up individually. It's a race to the bottom. Always.
James, the evidence does seem to suggest that. Removal of industry, removal of energy security, it goes on and on. But of course if you support the government, you'll get all the perks and will be looked after. Just keep voting for Big Brother (I mean Labour) and all will be well. Everyone else will become slaves to the regime, milked for money until they can give no more.
RE: the tweet of Basil the Great. Good grief, Zelensky needs to concede. Despite BILLIONS over the past 4 years; come Feb 2026 he's gained nothing. Stop all countries from funding Ukraine and it ends. Read an RT story last night about Zelensky admitting that he's aware that his troops of ~800,000 isn't giving him any advantage. He's got to concede, end it, accept the way it is.
A reminder, dear reader, that you're welcome to comment as Anon but if so, please invent a moniker to appear somewhere in your text ... it tells Watchers nothing, it does help the readers.

"Where is the energy coming from?"
ReplyDeleteWhere indeed and I believe there are definite moves to bring Britain to its knees ... deliberately.
