This may be controversial, but the decline started with Women getting into positions of power. The problem being that women are more empathetic to the issues of other people and will beat you to death to be the same. Hence the rise of DEI, of deliberate acts to be inclusive, to the detriment of the business or the country they control.

The men currently in positions of power in the UK are no better. Thin-skinned Communist Cucks, desperate to close down criticism and to signal their virtue even as they grind the country to dust.
