You’d Think Working There, They’d Be Better At Any such Cover Up

After all, they have so much data to draw on of how it's done, and even more, how it’s not done and can result in you getting caught, thanks to the people they deal with daily:
The body running courts in England and Wales has been accused of a cover-up, after a leaked report found it took several years to react to an IT bug that caused evidence to go missing, be overwritten or appear lost.

Wait, isn’t that likely to mean justice hasn’t been served? Reader, indeed so…

Sources within HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) say that as a result, judges in civil, family and tribunal courts will have made rulings on cases when evidence was incomplete.

Shouldn’t that worry those engaged in administering justice? Yes, it should. Yet it doesn’t appear to have done so…

The internal report, leaked to the BBC, said HMCTS did not know the full extent of the data corruption, including whether or how it had impacted cases, as it had not undertaken a comprehensive investigation. It also found judges and lawyers had not been informed, as HMCTS management decided it would be "more likely to cause more harm than good".

Cause more harm to whom? Well, one has to assume they mean ‘the managers of HMCTS', and not those facing trial!

HMCTS says its internal investigation found no evidence that "any case outcomes were affected as a result of these technical issues".

Did they actually look for any?

The Social Security and Child Support (SSCS) Tribunal - which handles benefit appeals - is thought to have been most affected.

Well, we all know who will benefit from this, don’t we Reader? That’s right. Lawyers.

General Election required

With the corrupt numbers-spads having got this excrescence of a govt in through the p***ing off of 80% of the voting public, knowing that in the UK, nothing whatever can be done under the system, plus the mindless red rosette voter, plus the dead and criminal (a la Demonrats in the States), plus the unibloc deathcult vote:

… we in this country are in the invidious position of having to force an election by hook or by crook, an impossible position, while this country, plus one across the Irish Sea:

… have just gone to the dogs, women and children raped, people knifed, lawlessness everywhere, invaders poised to strike at us, such that some countries are advising not to visit Britain right now …

… what then will Chas3 say in his big speech coming up?  Will he announce an election?

Depends actually … is he going to sack the govt and call for new elections? Or will it be the usual dross about how cruel we are to the rapists and stabbers, plus the climate?

And let’s just say he does do the unthinkable and call a snap election before Reform or the combined antiWoke, non-crim lot (us) can organise … ? Too many polarising heads … Farage, Tommy, Ben, Rupert … even Robert Jenrick. Now David Kurten and Ant Middleton.

It’s true that the majority would win … if it was a universally embraced party and there’s the rub, innit. None of those listed can command the majority, each of us has his/her “no way” nominee to avoid at all costs. Reform say put aside our “hatred” of Nigel “for the good of the country”.

Well, “for the good of the country”, Farage, Muss controllers and ££££s must never be PM … more of exactly the same. At the same time, TR has many dead against him … enough to stymie any party under the iniquitous FPTP system. Under that system, Labour always walk in.

A cynical view is that under “proportional” at least we’d have a hung parlmt (by the neck until dead is not a thought which has crossed my mind, certainly not in public … a hung parlmt in which no one can i fluct real damage on the country in the short term.

But nor would it eject the invaders. Hmmmmm.

Yes, It's A Mental Illness...

...and it often goes hand in hand with other expressions of mental illness:

A murder-obsessed teenager who spoke of carrying out a mass shooting at an Edinburgh school has been jailed for six years. A court heard Felix Winter, who is now 18, "idolised" the killers behind the 1999 Columbine High School massacre in the US. The pupil repeatedly spoke about mounting a similar "Doomsday" attack to the one which claimed the lives of 12 students and a teacher in Colorado. Winter, who also held racist and pro-Nazi views, admitted two charges at a hearing in February.

But no matter what someone’s been found guilty of, there are always those eager to assist them to escape punishment.

Shelagh McCall KC, defending, called for a strict alternative to custody as her client was a "vulnerable young person" with mental health issues.

Indeed so, more so than this article wishes you to realise:

Police Scotland launched an investigation in the summer of 2023 after a social media photo of Winter at school wearing combat gear and carrying an imitation gun caused panic among pupils and parents. It emerged the clothes and prop gun were issued to him for a video being made in a drama class in which he had been cast as a kidnapper. But detectives established Winter, of Kirknewton, West Lothian, frequently spoke to other pupils about carrying out a school attack.
Officers discovered that the schoolboy had a TikTok account which had footage of him wearing black combat clothes as well as a skeleton mask.

Despite the name and the pronouns used by the BBC, this is a girl.

At a previous hearing, Winter's lawyer said that the teenager was vulnerable and a transgender person and that would need to be taken into account.

Quite why, when it’s merely another facet of her extreme mental illness, God only knows!

Split between the anti-Wokerati?

Long muttered grumblings have erupted late last evening, Brit time:

The situation from Liz Truss’s point of view

This was posted on X:

A most useful exercise I should say, given that she was an actual PM, not just a Minister … I’m not sure Liz had the mental strength … they certainly did not think so … shades of Lady Jane Grey.  Dirty, dirty business, politics and there are Cicero Goves lurking, dagger-in-cloak, behind every pillar.

Sunak was and is appalling … nothing whatever to do with Britain’s best interests … Liz at least was British.  Where were the Enoch Powells?  Instead it was paedo (allegedly) Heaths and bloody Wilsons and Kinnocks.  Parliament atteacts the dregs of society, does it not?

Whither Britain in the light of what Liz wrote?

Why Should You Be Treated With 'Understanding And Fairness' When You Haven't Shown Any?

Asylum seekers housed in an Essex hotel that has been the target of protests and far-right incitement for two weeks have told the Guardian how the Bell hotel, where they had previously felt safe, has been transformed since demonstrations began. In a letter sent to the Guardian one of the men living in the hotel, Nabil, who said he had previously been attacked while out walking, called to be treated with “understanding and fairness” and for people not to resort to harmful stereotypes.

Yes, of course it's in the 'Guardian'...

We, as refugees, are frequently labeled with harmful stereotypes – that we came only for benefits, that we live off taxpayers, or that we are uneducated or disrespectful. These assumptions hurt us, hinder our integration, and most importantly, do not reflect the truth. I did not come here seeking wealth or running from poverty. In fact, I had a stable life back in my country, Yemen. I had a job, a house, a car, and everything I needed to live with dignity. What forced me to leave was not economic hardship, but persecution and fear for my safety and the safety of my family.

Yet we aren't told where your family is. And I can't believe the 'Guardian' would pass up the chance to challenge the 'myth' that the invasion is made up of mostly single men if they could, so I'm suspicious already that they are back in the Yemen.

We refugees are not here to take advantage of the system. We are here to rebuild our lives, to work, and to contribute. We will pay taxes like anyone else, not to “drain the system”, but because we believe that mutual respect and responsibility are the foundation of any strong and united society.

I believe the same of national borders and immigration laws, both of which you've knowingly and willingly ignored. So you'll understand if I treat you exactly as you deserve based on your actions. And your claims that you will pay taxes ring hollow, when we didn't ask you to come here in the first place, and you came anyway regardless of our wishes and our laws. You're not a desired worker or guest, you're a burglar.

Do you by any chance have an allotment?

This was a Telegraph headline on X, no date:

Then came this:

“Important outlet for physical & mental health” … precisely.  The nasty little marxist spads and Whitehallers are all over this idea.  Just how long will it take normies to wake up to what this rogue govt is doing?

Censorship Never Works The Way You Assume It Will...

'If only those championing the wretched Online Safety Bill had had some warning that it was going to work as badly as it did' will be a response from government when it all starts to crumble. But don't believe them.

There's precedent - these things always have unforseen consequences:
In the last two weeks, thousands of “adult only” and “not safe for work” games have disappeared from Steam and itch.io – two of the most prominent distribution platforms for PC video games – as they scrambled to comply with stricter rules mandated by payment processors such as MasterCard, Visa, and PayPal. These rules were established after a campaign by the organisation Collective Shout, which urged payment processors to stop facilitating payments to platforms hosting “rape, incest and child sexual abuse-themed games”. But the new rules have affected a far broader range of games – including some award-winning titles.

And of course, it’s hitting those who aren’t exactly known for their quiet acceptance of any halt to their desires, unfortunately for its government sponsors:

But these include games that explore queer identity and sexuality, such as Radiator 2 by Robert Yang, a former teacher at New York University’s Game Center. And the rules have also hit games that do not depict sex in any way at all. These include Last Call, a game about surviving domestic violence by award-winning game designer Nina Freeman, and Consume Me, a game about disordered eating which has also won numerous industry awards.
In a Bluesky post, Yang described Collective Shout and payment processors as “waging culture war against LGBTQ people and sexual expression”, while Consume Me’s developers told Wired that it is “completely unacceptable that payment processors are conducting censorship-by-fiat and systematically locking adult content creators out of platforms”.

As the song goes, ‘There may be trouble ahead…’

Not another penny to this bunch of crooks

A woman has admitted to fraudulently pocketing more than £26,000, which donors believed would be sent to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Eileen McDonagh, 33, pleaded guilty to four charges of fraud by false representation and a further charge of concealing, disguising, converting, transfering or removing criminal property at a Bath Magistrates’ Court hearing on 22 May. McDonagh, of Redbridge, London, was convicted of using a card machine to collect money that donors thought was going to the RNLI.

A spokesperson for the RNLI said: “It is disappointing that generous donations intended to save lives at sea did not reach our charity. “RNLI face-to-face fundraisers carry an official ID card and we would encourage people to check this before donating if they are unsure.”

Martin McDonagh, 35, of Walthamstow, London, also appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to the concealing, disguising, converting, transferring or removing of criminal property amounting to £4,151. The pair were granted unconditional bail and sent to Bristol Crown Court, where they will appear on 27 June for their next hearing.

… it’s not the only issue with the Royal Illegals Ferry Service or with its funding:

“Looking to” is he?
