If Only It Was Really 'Shocking'...

Bradford descended into lawlessness yesterday afternoon after a brawl outside the city's magistrates' court led to huge crowds clashing with police.

Yes, the demographic of these 'crowds' are exactly as you'd imagine...

Youths wearing hoodies and masks were filmed charging after police vehicles and hitting them, as officers attempted to get away from the disorder. At one point a BMW X5 regularly used by armed police, was chased by several men before one appeared to kick it, prompting the driver to hit the brakes and reverse towards crowds before stopping and driving off. In another clip, firearms cops were seen sprinting through the city centre while a large group of officers attempted to hold back crowds at the entrance to the shopping precinct in Market Street.

Once again, the police are too cowed by frequent assaults on them from the usual suspects to treat this as what it is.

The mayhem has outraged civic leaders, who today insisted Bradford was 'safe' and the city centre was 'open for business'.

*hollow laughter*

City ward Councillor Nazam Azam said those responsible for the 'abhorrent' incident - widely shared on social media - will feel the full wrath of the law.
'We will not allow this to take place in our city. The perpetrators will be dealt with accordingly and the harshest possible treatment given to them for their actions... They will get the book thrown at them.'

Sadly, if they do, it'll be a paperback. And it'll probably miss.

London Town

One reads things oop in the north-west about London today and our Julia is down there now negotiating its daily hazards. Quite separately, methought it time for another train video about the overground underground, part of Blighty's rich cultural past.

Uh huh ... notice anything interesting here?

Moving on ... to an entirely different topic ... Kant Explain posted a comment on his jaunts around London:

Walking through central London today, I passed the Royal Academy of Arts and they were holding an exhibition by Marina Abramovic, she of the 'spirit cooking'. Went into the National Portrait Gallery and was surprised to see that none of the Tudors were African. I guess they'll fix that sometime soon.

Crossing the road at Trafalgar Square, the pedestrian light didn't show a walking man, but instead the international sign for lesbianism. The next set of lights had the sign for transgenderism and the third set, instead of a walking man had two walking men holding hands. Turned down Whitehall and of course the flags flying above Downing Street and the Foreign Office were Ukrainian.

Diversity ... dontchajussluvit?  Pakistan obviously doesn't:

You've Only Yourselves To Blame...

...because your actions helped the scales fall from their eyes:
Pre-pandemic, ensuring daily attendance was considered a tenet of good parenting, but now it's socially acceptable to take children on holiday in term time. From there, it's not such a big step to abandoning school altogether.

And for very good reasons...

All pointed to an education system in crisis. Some parents felt schools were failing their children academically or emotionally, painting a picture of a generation of children anxious in the aftermath of lockdown. Others felt they were hotbeds of violence and bullying. Some cited a new educational 'woke' agenda which they felt had become uncomfortably prevalent, and was being presented to children at far too young an age.

Something we can genuinely thank the hysteria over covid for is that it enabled parents to get a good look at what went on in schools.

'Home education is changing out of all recognition at the moment,' explained Jacky, the lead for home education at a local authority in the north of England, who spoke to me off the record. 'Covid revealed a lot,' added Ziggy Moore, founder of Moore Education, an online tuition programme for maths and English, who has seen a boom in business because of parents home-schooling and also using private tutors. Thanks to online lessons during lockdown, parents observed how schools were educating their kids up close — and what they saw did not please them.

One wonders why more parents don't seem concerned...

The curriculum is another cause for concern. Emily, from an upper-middle-class family, worked for a charitable foundation until an incident at her daughter's state school forced her to opt for home-schooling. Her seven-year-old daughter had become increasingly anxious and depressed. 'She finally admitted she was scared men with terrifying weapons were going to come and take her away and told me: 'And I won't see you again!' ' Baffled, Emily looked through her daughter's school workbooks — and found they contained the story of Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani education activist who was shot in the head by the Taliban aged 15 on her way to school. 'My daughter is seven. She does not know where Pakistan is. This is an issue in Islamic countries, but no teacher will point that out because it's considered racist. So my daughter thinks this is happening in Clapham.'

If the Education Secretary had his way, it probably would!

The lure of the exciting new idea

If you would consider these screenshots below, it might throw some light on the question posed in the first, from the Woke-left Wired:

Yes, why do simple minds, complex and tortuous in their justifications for their man-made future, fall for the ultimately unsustainable and impossible idea?

Stylish idea, simple, a con, desperately wanting that here and now, all at once, no need to think ... rather than the eternal verities:

A childlike belief in this sort of "artwork":

Reminding us to buy buy buy, sign up and pay, then running an article about how a certain search engine alters billions of searches to direct you to a monetising result, rather than an accurate one. And here's part of the article on why the tech mind, the non-spiritual, historically ignorant, falls every time:

Idea => quick solution => trick => $$$$$$ ... just look at the ad which goes with the text ... attractive to a Wired reader ...Q.E.D.  The reality though? Nothing simple, even in this post right now. Hidden behind this post, in simple Arial, is this:

By the way .... how many techies are male, how many female? How many head office, admins, are now female?  The lure of Carly Fiorina type exciting new ideas:

Also look at the lady's avatar, her style of historicity, her age, the ancient of days, compared to the simplistic font and style-less flags. Consider my own handwriting:

What handwriting is it?

We really are talking quite different minds at work, are we not?  Light upstroke and flourish, heavy downstroke with the split nib ... slow, meticulous, unhurried ... a different world to this:

Free childlike stickers ... oh well, I'll just have to suspend my lifetime of learning and adopt the New School-ignorati persona, implicitly trusting the Narrative ... and fork out now, yes?

Eternal verities ... ancient ... hopelessly unfashionable, plodding yes? No time.

Do You Need A Dictionary, Joe..?

Faced by stagnant approval ratings and worries about his advanced age, the US president attempted to stir his dormant supporters and animate the undecided by spelling out the dangers he insisted a second Trump presidency would pose to the US’s status as the world’s leading beacon of democratic government.

Isn't letting people vote for whoever they want the very essense of democracy?

“There is something dangerous happening in America,” he told an audience in Phoenix, Arizona. “There is an extremist movement that does not share the basic beliefs of our democracy: the MAGA movement … History has brought us to a new time of testing. “All of us are being asked right now: What will we do to maintain our democracy?

Well, hopefully not re-elect someone with one foot in his mouth and the other in a care home...

He was forced to pause early in his speech when a heckler interrupted to demand why he had not declared a climate emergency, according to reporters in the auditorium. “If you shush up, I will meet with you immediately after this, OK?” the president responded. He then added pointedly: “Democracy never is easy – as you just demonstrated.

Isn't being able to fire questions at your leader (even if they are stupid ones) in a public forum a sign of democracy then, Jow?

Democracy, he said, “means rule of the people, not rule of the monarchy, not rule of money, not rule of the mighty.
“Regardless of party, that means free and fair elections, respecting the outcome, win or lose. It means you cannot love your country only when you win.”

And what would a Democrat know about loving their country?

The threat of violence continued unabated, he said, most recently aimed at general Mark Milley, the chair of the US armed forces joint chiefs of staff, whom Trump recently said in a social media post was guilty of “treason”. “Frankly, these MAGA extremists have no idea what the hell they’re talking about,” Biden said.

Now, that's chutzpah!

The Catch 22 of female safety

This needs to be written. As one of the detested males not required by this type:

... brainwashed by schools, the media, entertainment, even parents, certainly by peers ... anything I do to try to reverse this below will just fall on deaf ears:

Police are investigating a report of rape on a woman in her 30s which took place in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, September 30). The incident is reported to have taken place at about 4.30am at Cannon Park in Middlesbrough. The woman is being supported by specially trained police officers and enquiries continue to trace a (black) male suspect wearing a blue tracksuit, speaking with a foreign accent. Detectives investigating the incident would appeal to any witnesses or anyone with information who may have been in the area around the time the incident took place, to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 195101

It's just one of hundreds of thousands of cases across the west, from Rotherham to those two Norwegian girls in Morocco who didn't need rescuing in the least, Lara Logan ... it goes on and on ... nor would most white males today be inclined to help that ingrate in the picture above.

Sensible gals are another matter, gals with functioning brains:

Gals with functioning brains go out in packs or else never put themselves in any situation where that demographic is anywhere near.  Consider these:

In principle, I could not agree more and I did discuss it with a Euro lady not from these isles ... she showed me what was in her handbag ... good, said I, possibly illegal but necessary today.

The problem is that the homegrown male under 45 is now either a wimp or violent narcissist ... the type of man coming to the rescue is probably Gen X ... they're the ones still with some unconditional chivalry, whilst Boomers are now getting too old and even the chivalrous section of those was never more than a third anyway.

Coming back to the girls under 45, so many hardly help themselves with their mindsets and behaviour, their choices ... it's almost self-destructive.

Why should I care, personally?  Because I do, that's all. Females who love men as men love them are fine ... no one's going near those ladies to rape or stab or slash.  It's these others who are the issue. They're still humans.

Plus, if women are allowed to be armed ... that's fine for the ladies we love, who hardly need weapons anyway ... but the ones who do need them, putting themselves into those positions ... they're the last ones you'd want to see weapons in the hands of ... they'd shoot any male they saw or cry rape ... look at that Ada creature on GB News for example.

It's a conundrum.

The curious case of the sudden hit on anti-Woke online forces across the west … a personal tale

This blog is Orphans of Liberty, it is a group blog and not an outlet pour moi, it is led by Julia, of Ambush Predator and I do try to keep my posts off here in the main … but occasionally it’s an OoL type issue of personal freedom to speak and there’s a case for reposting, esp. if it also appears on Gab and Twitter … this one I’m also putting on substack.

The OoL readers include those who don’t visit N.O. so please bear with me here. Let’s start.

That M53 bus crash near Liverpool

The immediate question it raises which no one is coming out and asking ...

At around 8am this morning (Friday), police, paramedics, fire crews and an air ambulance were called to the northbound carriageway of the motorway between J5 for New Chester Road to J4 for Brimstage Road following reports of an overturned school bus carrying children.

The family of (the) schoolgirl who died in a crash on the M53 have released a picture (and) Merseyside Police have confirmed her name as Jessica Baker.

The family of (the) bus driver who was killed in a crash on the M53 today have named him as dad-of-two Stephen Shrimpton (who) "suffered medical issues" at the wheel of the coach on the M53.
The dislocated nature of this report is because of issues in copying from the Liverpool Echo who were doing very strange things ... breaking it into separate articles ans each page crashing several times, such that I had to rush to get any text copied before the ads swamped it and it disappeared.

Obviously commiserations and there's a go fund me at the Echo, should you wish.

Now, between us => the driver => medical issues => such that he hit a middle plantation it seemed and the bus overturned. What is the betting it was heart and that it was jab related? You can be sure they won't release that. In fact they're swamping the reports in all the other detail.
