That's Nothing Compared To The Damage It's Causing To Our Political Elite!

Angela Rayner warned today that the ongoing culture war over gender rights is causing 'damage' to young people - and it is unacceptable to ask a trans woman if they had a penis.
The Labour deputy leader struck a conciliatory tone as she said that women-only spaces should be protected at the same time as people changing gender should be supported.

Good luck with squaring that particular circle, Angie baby! Of course, it's all an attempt to row back after her boss showed his lack of fortitude:

It came after her boss, party leader Sir Keir Starmer, yesterday refused to say if a woman can have a penis during a debate about trans rights.
Asked if a woman can have a penis, Starmer told LBC yesterday: 'I'm not... I don't think we can conduct this debate with... I don't think that discussing this issue in this way helps anyone in the long run.'

It's certainly not helping your party, is it? Not that the Tories have anything to boast about on this score, either...

She was asked about Liverpool's Walton Centre NHS Trust, which has begun to ask all men whether they are pregnant before undergoing scans. The procedure can affect unborn children.
Ms Rayner said there will be circumstances where it is reasonable to ask a trans man if they are pregnant, but added: 'It wouldn't be a reasonable question for me to say ''Have you got a penis or not?'' because that's not acceptable. She said the issue is not about 'men coming into women-only spaces', it is about 'supporting people in their lives'.

That's not all she says:

So shut up, peasants, and let Ange decide the hard issues of the day!

One issue currently flying under the radar

The Wool Merchant Hotel in Halifax asked guests to leave to move ‘refugees’ in the very next day.

In December roughly 20 guests were asked to leave by the hotel, they were told that it was due to a broken boiler. However, that wasn’t the case. No boiler repairs or replacements have been made on the premises.

The very next day, the hotel moved in its first set of Afghans. The Home Office had paid for the Hotel to now house ‘refugees’.

It is believed that the hotel is receiving £150 per person, per day, as well as just under £7,000 per month for ‘upkeep’ and damage. The hotel is now also employing two full-time Mitie security guards trained under the ‘Serco’ umbrella.

New In The Guardian: 'How To Handicap Your Kid For Life'

Oooh, parenting advice in the dear old 'Grauniad' This should be good (for a laugh):
What sort of behaviour should I look out for?
There’s a certain sort of kid, warns O’Malley, who goes to school with a supercilious presumption that they’re better than the others. Make sure your child isn’t that child: the idea that your offspring is inherently smarter, better looking and more skilled across the board, is, in fact, a facet of your own dark side – and transmitting it to your child will lead to big problems.

Wait, what? But what if they are? What if they shine amongst dullards (yes, I know parents always think that, but sometimes it must actually be true)..?

The much better approach is to think from the point of view of other children, and to encourage your child to do likewise. “When asking your child about their day, don’t just ask about lessons and what they had for lunch,” says O’Malley. “Ask them, did everyone have a friend at playtime today? And if they say someone was left out, ask them did they give that person a smile, or go to ask whether they wanted to play?”

Thus making them the prey of the vicious and manipulative. Like...the future offspring of 'Guardian' columnists, perchance?

You ready for tomorrow's energy hike?

TCW on tomorrow's energy hike:

Mine is doubling but still ok; between you and me I've had a good look at the fine print.  I mean, what are we all complaining about?  How else are we to pay for the invaders visitors and to the Ukrainian cabal and militias?

I mean we have to pay for everyone but our own people, don't we?

Let's Spin The Wheel Of Racism Once More...

...ooooh, car insurance!
Citizens Advice said it found that in some areas “the difference in price was more than 100%,” and that common risk factors such as crime rates and deprivation levels could not account for this.
“We’re concerned this suggests that areas with large communities of colour may be identified as more risky, even when objective risk factors are controlled,” it said. It found that quotes in areas with large proportions of black or south Asian people came in at least £280 higher than quotes in largely white postcodes, but that the ethnicity penalty was “up to £950 in some places”.

Well, cars and certain races don't seem to go well together, it really has to be said.

For the “customers” the researchers picked names often associated with certain ethnic groups, though Citizens Advice said these ended up not having much impact on the prices being quoted.
“This suggests this penalty is paid by everyone who lives in an area, regardless of their ethnicity.” it added.

QED. Because in areas of large ethnic 'minorities', everyone's at risk of being involved in a collision, if not causing one...

When your GP joins the ranks of the shoddy and murderous

Our Julia wrote:
I would be utterly ecstatic if my GP showed a fraction of the customer service of Uber.

The only way is to follow the French or Italian system.

The patient doesn't "register" with a doctor. S/he simply chooses who to consult, pays the doctor (of his/her choice) and is reimbursed (wholly or substantially partially and quickly) by the state "health insurance" authority. This way, the doctor knows to whom he has to be nice and deliver good service: it's the PATIENT not the NHS.

If the doctor opts to see nobody - or is rude or just useless - he gets zero income. This way he might even open his surgery over the week-end and make home visits or God forbid - work in the evenings.

In one, IMHO.  There is a reason the GP system was wrecked and though I'm at a pay-dentist for dental, they're also going that way in that it's who will see you at that time.

How To Ensure We Continue To Have An Inner City Drug Problem?

Well, this will certainly help!
The police panel, led by Hackney’s Basic Unit commander, Marcus Barnett, admitted that the Met has a problem with officers viewing inner London children as “adults”, adding that what happened to Child Q would probably not have happened to a child living in the Cotswolds, as an example.

Well, maybe because in the Cotswolds, a child is unlikely to go to school smelling so strongly of cannabis that teachers are concerned, perhaps?

The meeting also revealed that Barnett knew about the girl being strip searched in January 2021. Officers were called due to a teacher wrongly suspecting that she had cannabis.

Not an unreasonable assumption, given her clothes stank of it.

He added that the school “probably should not have called us and we should probably have understood very quickly that we had no role to play there”.

Why not? Drugs are illegal, aren't they? Aren't you always boasting about your successes when you find some?

"Better put them back, lads. The boss said we've no role to play here after all..."

What exactly do you think you're playing at? Reflexively cringing in front of the mob won't head off the usual suspects at the pass, will it?

Chanel Dolcy, a solicitor at Bhatt Murphy, which is representing the family in proceedings against the police, said Child Q had launched civil proceedings against the force and her school seeking to hold both institutions to account “to ensure this never happens again to any other child”.

Sheer wastage

TPA:

As our chief executive, John O’Connell, explained to eager newspaper hacks:

“Cutting income tax down the line will be easily offset by the upcoming national insurance hike and freezing income tax thresholds, leaving taxpayers out of pocket overall."

And the reason the government needs to collect so much tax revenue in the first place is that public spending is still too high. Figures released from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the day before the spring statement, show exactly why the chancellor needs to pursue sensible savings.

Borrowing of nearly £140 billion in a single year and national debt soaring past £2.3 trillion (the real national debt is far worse) is simply unsustainable.

It should come as little surprise therefore that last month’s debt interest payments were the highest for February on record at £8.2 billion. That's over £8 billion which could have been used to fund public services or cut the tax burden.

What is being missed here is that it's a a combination of trad-left-think which always prints more money ... plus the globalcabal great reset which is partly led by Britain, so they're hardly likely to alter it.

And of course, giving it to the undeserving invaders, plus vanity projects, can lead to nothing else but wastage.  No concept of incentives for small and medium businesses, plus the self-employed.

Ready for your daily dose of ritual abuse?

One by-product of bourgeois or Hobbiton/Shire values at the height of civilisation is that the denizens, the residents, cannot conceive of anyone acting in a vile manner towards them in an Orc or Mordor way.  Not the slightest concept.

Were Strider to suggest ... which he knows he cannot, so he keeps it to himself at the inn where he sits quietly in the corner ... that the level of depravity is far beyond what the good citizens of the Shire could possibly comprehend, simply because they themselves are not depraved people, they are just petty-bickering citizens of the bourgeois Shire ... were he to show them the Podesta artwork, show the Abramovich spirit cooking, the extraction of adrenochrome from kids and the rest of the sordid vileness ... you know very well how the Shire brain would deal with it ...

Conspiracy theory!  Product of some filth hound from Hades, meaning Strider himself had a sordid and depraved mind, an overactive imagination.

Were he to suggest that these creatures who have taken over NHS admin offices, charities, the same creatures who rule the WEF, the UN, the EU, every high office in every western land, are from the snakepit from hell ... convivial company would pass surreptitious smiles to one another,  someone would make circular motions with his finger around his ear ... this guy is a loon, a swivel-eyed one too.

And even in March, 2022, at a site actually called Daily Sceptic, which is progress of sorts, the worthy gentleman circling the finger around  the ear still cannot get to grips with just how bad it really is:

One of the most troubling aspects of the Government’s response to the pandemic was its complete disregard for ethics. It seems not to have occurred to the decision-makers that the instant removal of fundamental civil liberties required – and must always require – the most comprehensive ethical justification.

During the largely self-made crisis, the Government passed sweeping mandates with barely any serious reflection on the impacts on millions of people’s lives, and stubbornly refused to listen to a multitude of far more thoughtful, well-informed alternatives.

Inexcusably, it appears that the main reason the Government and its advisors neglected to consider ethics was brute ignorance – they didn’t think about ethics because they have no idea why it is important. To them ethics is at best a scarcely relevant adjunct to ‘following the science’.

Had they understood ethics – or bothered to ask people who do – they would have been able to approach policymaking in a properly balanced and effective manner.

Isn't that so reassuringly sweet, so 'Letter to the Editor' reassuringly bourgeois: "Dear Sir, I wish to complain ... signed disgruntled."  A safe world of Christian or Aristotlean values where one commutes each workday and nods to the same passengers on the train.

Until something like the blitzkrieg is visited upon them or far worse ... the Enemy already within, warping young minds in schools and at public libraries where they're 'gender reassigning' 5 and 6 year olds, in rainbow colours, the indigenous ethnic group now overrun by those of quite different ethics indeed.  And such creeps are being nominated for SCOTUS - how on earth did she get to be a 'judge' in the first place?

'Disregarding' ethics? Disregarding?  These Schwab, Gates and Soros myrmidons don't even know what ethics are or if they can get some sort of concept of them, ethics are hurled to the ground, stomped on, urinated upon and citizens are invited to join them in the horror ... or else no vaxx pass for you to get into your pubs and clubs.

Christian values?  What's a Christian anyway these days?

Ah, I know ...  don't tell me ... it's a paedo priest or Irish bomber of market squares, innit?  It's a pointy-hatted, incense swinging mumbler of the litany, like the false Pope or Welby, like Jimmy Swaggart and other Merc driving, luxury living tele-evangelists we never watch.  It's a curious couple who won't bake a gay cake, it's two earnest young men in suits knocking on your door, asking the couch potato if he's found Jesus today.  Guy looks under his couch. "Nope, I know I put it somewhere last night."

Meanwhile, on the box is respectable Klaus, he of the codpiece and nothing else on that beach, assuring everyone that all their aid for the Ukraine has been sent as food parcels, not weaponry for Azov battalion to slaughter citizens with, not to mention everyone skimming off their share along the way, as with Live Aid all those years ago, let's all sing Kumbaya, lovely Hobbiton residents, well done, wave another candle and signal some more virtue.

Who's the nasty person here, mind like a gutter?  Who's the blind loon? Which politicians and supporters are advocating full term abortion and even post ... and signing it into law?  It ain't us nasty people, I can tell you that.

G.K. Chesterton had a character who had walked the sewers of the human soul abandoned, he'd seen the bestial and was there to offer help, succour, as the Parish pastor used to do.  Where are they now?  Gone, along with their burnt out churches or those still standing with doors firmly bolted against the population.

Whence any sanity whatever these days, any sense of hope?  From the bedraggled ragtag still of the old values is it not?  Allies finally combining out of sheer necessity.

Have a lovely Saturday, chaps and chapesses.  To fellow keyboard warriors ... just ignore the perma-flak and keep on battling.

The Attitude Holding You Back Has Nothing To Do With The Activity...

Annalize Butler said she felt "like a black unicorn" when she came to the West Midlands and realised how few black people swam.
The Londoner began teaching lessons in Birmingham and Wolverhampton after getting a strong response to a post on social media in 2020.
"I met with people in the West Midlands who were like 'where have you been?'" she said. She set up Black Owned Swim School and wants to teach in 100 pools.

All at once? That's going to be a bit of a tall order, isn't it?

We have, of course, been here before. But why is there this disparity? Is it because black people have 'an inherent fear of water' as this idiot believes?

"It could be down to the fact that we are still dealing with our self image," Ms Butler said.

Can anyone translate? What does someone's 'self image' have to do with anything?

Ms Butler runs the swim school with the help of Subira Dalila, from Wolverhampton, who first contacted her about lessons for her children.
"I phoned up Annalize looking for a teaching instructor and she offered either tuition for my children or she offered the opportunity for me to become a swim teacher," Ms Dalila said.
She said it was important to her for her children to have a black instructor as "I feel that they learn better when somebody looks like them".

Really? Why? Does anyone else feel this need to be taught something by someone who 'looks like them'?

As well as getting more black adults and children swimming, Ms Butler said she wanted to prevent them from drowning.
Being part of an ethnic minority is associated with an increased risk of drowning, according to the World Health Organization.

Well, if that won't prompt them to learn, what will? Or will they just claim that water is racist now?
