I think people who think like us are proud of the truth of the Bible.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be a human trait of those who have abandoned God to hate the truth and just as with the Old Testament prophets and Jesus Christ himself, truth tellers are always vilified and persecuted and even killed by the Godless haters.
Just to clarify, I am not comparing myself to the heroes of the Bible, much less our Lord Jesus Christ. But it is the only book in the world that tells the truth from genesis to revelation; it describes human nature, what we are capable of, both good and bad, and describes in detail how this is all going to end.
And the godless haters don't believe a word of it.
Highland Clearances were not an English or UK feature.

Previously they were the father figure of a clan. But then they discovered that they "owned" the land that the clan lived on.
That, combined with proper education in Edinburgh and London, made them realise that the land would be more productive if the inconvenient occupants went elsewhere. Bit like African chiefs flogging off their compatriots.
We are now in a reverse situation, where our chiefs think that letting in lots of useless or cheap people is good for the nation. While keeping farting sheep will destroy the planet.
