Yes but do people know how? Plus we really need to drop this right/left thing these days. Among the anti-Woke are many of the old left and among the vicious Woke are RINOs, CINOs and cucks.
Within the Woke are the naive who think that their trad anti-bankster, anti-capitalist, Rik Mayal stance should manifest itself in Antifa bashing of protesters against govt strictures, they actually go along with govt mandates on anyone not themselves.
Meanwhile, among the so-called right, even the old Christian right, are those who are anything but Christian, anything but conservative. They're all for this global reset and jailing any who protest.
So you see, the 'good people' here are pretty much for freedom within rules which protect us from others as well. We wish to be left alone to get on with our own lives.
Tolerating evil ... there's nothing noble or redemptive in that sort of 'tolerance'.
If you look around the blogs and vlogs and gabs of those vaguely in our area of politics, we tend to agree, quite independently, on many of the topics which come up, e.g. on the climate scam and net zero, on vaxx mandates and so on.
Vaguely again ... if govt mandate it and send plod to enforce it, it's best to be against it until we've sorted it in our heads.
That's radically different to how loyalists once were. When the rule of law still applied, we'd be for that in principle, for our safety and that of our families. Now it's turned on its head and those above are clearly destructive to humanity in every nation ... openly so ... so we have to refuse.
That's a real issue for loyalists ... having to be radical and say no for once.
Some of us have done that with the deathjab thing for two years and we've copped all sorts of flak for it from people who should have known better than join in the bullying.
None of which addresses Paul Gosar above. Turn the ship around? How and to what? In which direction?
Well for a start ... consistent law for all legals ... and illegals out until they're legal ... they can apply from overseas if they wish.
And yet it's far too late for all that now, as Concern wrote in comments. The issue is Those Above and yes, it's easy to define them ... One Nation Conservatives for a start, who are nothing but socialists masquerading.
Socialists? Yep, someone wanting something for nothing, paid for by those with jobs, who've paid in all their working lives.
So yes, recapturing the language for a start by constantly using sane terms and refusing to even use c**p like 'birthing person'. Everyone starting to use the old, sane terms the way they were in the dictionary for eons is a good start. Framing the debate or else blocking those riding roughshod over it with their Wokery.
That sort of thing.
James, I agree with you, words are important, especially the meaning that is ascribed to them. The commies are masters of distorting the meanings of words to make them fit into their propaganda. It's a necessity these days to establish what someone means by most of the words they use.
ReplyDeleteTwo examples, activist and progressive.
I try to differentiate by using troublemaker for what lefties say and do, and campaigner for the activities of normal people.
As for progressive, that word is an identifier for Marxist ideology in my opinion.
By the way, blogger doesn't want me to publish in my usual way, which is why I've had to publish as anonymous recently.
