Pause to reflect

Just wondering if we can approach this rationally or not.  We are certainly in two opposed camps on most things and we can resort to rhetoric ... or else we can see if there is a problem or not.

One from the US:

One from the UK:

Our concern at OoL is whether this vaxx and its associated passport are far beyond medical needs, that it was rolled out along with a political agenda from 2018, that agenda leading to all sorts of changes in The Great Reset, inc. switching to all digital currency, thereby averting a run on the banks [see 1929] ... or else everything's hunky-dory and let's go for it, guys, let's go jab-happy.

If you are one of the vaxxed, and assuming you're not an advocate but simply complied, you may have done so for various reasons, inc. keeping your job, a relative in your household holding a different viewpoint on it or else because the MSM told you to, plus the NHS constantly texting to your phone - you just wanted them off your back.

Whatever, however, what's done is done, the issue now is how far this vaxx and passport are agenda, or else how far they are 'wise and necessary measures to stop us all being ill', enabling us to go out and happily panic buy every time a new fear is MSMed at us.  Corollary with that latter view is that I myself, plus all the others raising such concerns worldwide are just isolated loons.

I would suggest we have seen copious evidence, not just of health concerns to at least give us pause, but there is a most definite political aspect to it which goes way beyond simple health measures.  This can be seen in youtube's decision yesterday to shut out any content not supporting the vaxx.

The wise might reflect on that I should have thought.

How Dare You Have Your Own Opinions!

And how dare you be right!

Kemi Badenoch was at the centre of a colonialism row today after WhatsApp messages in which she said she didn't 'care' about its impact on Africa were leaked.
The Equalities Minister said that those who lost out most when European states controlled Africa were 'old elites' rather than the regular people, in messages handed to Vice News.
She added that the Europeans who went in 'just made a different bunch of winners and losers', adding 'there was never any concept of ''rights'''.
Imagine a white Tory minister saying that? In fact, the usual suspects can, which is why they are making so much of this...
Ms Badenoch's messages were handed to Vice by Funmi Adebayo,a former associate of the minister.
She said she acted after Ms Badenoch was promoted in last week's reshuffle to a role involving the Foreign Office.

Ah, that famed unity of outlook of the 'black community', eh? What upsets the usual suspects so much about Ms Badenoch?

Ms Badenoch has previously been vocal in her concerns about the the 'woke-ification' of British education.
Born in London to Nigerian parents, she has two degrees and worked in McDonald's to support herself through her studies.
She used a Commons speech to highlight the duty of schools to avoid political partisanship. She does not want white children being taught about 'white privilege and their inherited racial guilt'.
'Any school which teaches these elements of political race theory as fact, or which promotes partisan political views — such as defunding the police — without offering a balanced treatment of opposing views, is breaking the law,' she said, adding that schools should not openly support 'the anti-capitalist Black Lives Matter group'.

Yup, that'll do it!

They can just sod off

This is the full text that reader haiku sent, also to be posted at N.O.

It’s from "On Living in an Atomic Age, 1948", by CS Lewis:

“How are we to live in an atomic age?”

I am tempted to reply: “Why, as you would have lived in the sixteenth century when the plague visited London almost every year, or as you would have lived in a Viking age when raiders from Scandinavia might land and cut your throat any night; or indeed, as you are already living in an age of cancer, an age of syphilis, an age of paralysis, an age of air raids, an age of railway accidents, an age of motor accidents.”

In other words, do not let us begin by exaggerating the novelty of our situation. Believe me, dear sir or madam, you and all whom you love were already sentenced to death before the atomic bomb was invented and quite a high percentage of us were going to die in unpleasant ways. We had, indeed, one very great advantage over our ancestors – anaesthetics; but we have that still.

It is perfectly ridiculous to go about whimpering and drawing long faces because the scientists have added one more chance of painful and premature death to a world which already bristled with such chances and in which death itself was not a chance at all, but a certainty.

This is the first point to be made: and the first action to be taken is to pull ourselves together. If we are all going to be destroyed by an atomic bomb, let that bomb, when it comes, find us doing sensible and human things – praying, working, teaching, reading, listening to music, bathing the children, playing tennis, chatting to our friends over a pint and a game of darts – not huddled together like frightened sheep and thinking about bombs.

They may break our bodies (a microbe can do that) but they need not dominate our minds.

They're most certainly playing the psy-ops on us, I suggest we heed that lady quoted earlier, who tells them all to jump in the lake, no matter what sort of mandating or fearmongering is the flavour today.

I'm thinking if that lady, from a time when people still had functioning spines, has the courage to do that - and I've seen it already with her in RL - then what on earth are we all being scaredy-cats for?

Legal non-cooperation at a minimum, I'd say.  Sod off, the lot of 'em.

Fantasy versus reality

Observe these two statements, both by ladies, both around the same age:

The European Green Pass, available to EU citizens or legal residents who have completed their Covid vaccination cycle, tested negative to a molecular or antigen test or been cured of Covid, seems to me an excellent idea and I am very grateful to have mine.

And this one:

Note the bit about graphene oxide being used to dull the anxiety part of the brain.  The author has also dropped red pill comments on 4chan, if you want the link I can send it. One was that you would wish you were dead if you have taken the vax as the consequences aren't very pleasant.....

Just looked at the govt thing on mandatory vax, they can jump in a lake as far as I'm concerned, talk about mass murder, couldn't make it up.

Two quite opposed views, would you not say, one based on govt stricture, medical experts such as Gates and Fauci, plus MSM narrative enforcement, backed by state jobsworths who are there to suppress any other view but the state's ... the other based on medical science when it is allowed out to breathe.

Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked ... so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.

Just ask Boris about Gas

On December 9th, 2012, a British Politician stated, categorically, that the solution to British worries about her Energy Needs was clearly available, and all it required was the Political Will.

The solution? Shale Gas, deep underground. ready and waiting to be ‘Fracked’, or released for the rock in which the gas is trapped by ‘Fracturing’ that rock with chemicals injected under high pressure.

He was equally clear that the Political Will was there, as stated by the then Environment Secretary, and endorsed by the then Chancellor, George Osborne.

But, he moaned, “Alas, we are in a Coalition, and the Liberals run the Department of Energy and Climate Change. They have announced a moratorium on fracking, claiming that there have been earthquakes in the Blackpool area – even though there are tiny quakes every day. In what they thought was a cunning move, the Lib Dems also leaked the location of two big reserves of shale gas – in Tatton and Shropshire North. Much to his credit, Owen Paterson immediately announced that he was all in favour of fracking his constituency if it would deliver jobs and growth, and he is dead right. The shale gas discovery is hateful to the Libs and the Greens, because it destroys their narrative about the ever rising cost of hydrocarbons. It is glorious news for humanity. It doesn’t need the subsidy of wind power. I don’t know whether it will work in Britain, but we should get fracking right away.”

The Politician, who was so forthright in his aim, which of course was to give Britain access to cheap Energy: was of course none other than:-

Boris Johnson

Oz, The Great And Terrible...

Ever since their police gave up all pretence that the brutal covid restrictions were anything to do with concern for people's health and wellbeing, they seem to have decided that anything goes:

Furious parents have hurled abuse from the stands as they watched an all-boys netball team trounce a girls team 46-12 in a state grand final - after they were controversially allowed into the competition by organisers.

And they didn't even have to put on frocks and lippy!

Netball Queensland defended its decision to include the boys in the tournament, where they easily won their seven games on the way to the title, on the basis they had nowhere else to play due to the lower number of male players.

/facepalm

'We are hopeful this will be a catalyst for a stand alone men's competition in 2022.'
'Queensland Suns acknowledges the perceptions of disadvantage or unfairness for the girls regional teams, however the purpose of the opportunity afforded to us was not to overshadow them, but to provide some much-needed exposure on a significant stage,' it said.

This 'reasoning' is something I'm unfamiliar with, as I am of this new incarnation of the Aussie, no longer a tough-talking, resourceful but fair member of society. What the hell happened?

"What The FUQ? - Frequently Unanswered Questions of the "Australian Government" - Documentary"

Clif High posted that on his twitter feed with the comment "Tourist promo for Australia, from 2012. Showing how far back people were stumbling into downunder woo..."

...........

Right, so who is the lawful govt here in these here isles?  Is it that lot in Westminster or is it The Crown?  And what is The Crown?  Is it Her Majesty or the people whose permission she needs to enter the City?  Or the actual people?  And what is the difference between a Citizen [Inc.] and a freeborn person in the isles?  What about parents, grandparents and great grandparents - do they count?

Has that ever been rescinded?  What redress is there for the freeborn English[wo]man? Who voted for The Crown?  Or for that matter, the monarchy?  When was that plebiscite?

Was it in 1215?  Or was there never a plebiscite and rather than the rule of law, it's the rule of force?  Political will is ten points of the law?

Saturday Morning Live

There's a character I didn't know a lot about but in the last few days, his name has come into focus - Norm McDonald. Wondered why and then looked at Wiki.  Ah, I see.

Anyway, we have an asset over at 'our place' across the way who's as much of a phenomenon, a bona fide southern belle [I've seen photos] as this Norm was a real problem for left-liberals.  For English sensibilities, he seems pretty obvious but that's before you stop and think through what he was actually doing.  Before going any further, two YTs and the question being grappled with is why he was shut out of SNL and finally out of the Woke scene altogether:

Strange Choice From The Photobank...

...because I don't think young smartly-dressed white boys and girls with attentive parents have most to fear, do they? Unless it's as victims.

It's the coercion which is the thing

In this video below [linked], Polly leaves her studio and goes to a rally.  Not a big rally, admittedly, but a rally near one particular hospital in Canada and as the ladies point out, it's all about freedom of choice on what people put into their bodies, minus coercion, threats, punishment:

Contrast that with this little MSM cow quoted at Samizdata:

At N.O., a lady came in and asked what I had against frankenmeat, something parodied at Lord Somber's and the issue is not the meat per se - it's the coercion.  This is all about coercion, something the Great Reset facilitators are steadfastly ignoring.

In a similar way, there was the 'tradies' protest at their own trade union office downunder which went viral:

The little Susies down there called them a far-right rabble.  All right, first check again a sample of Susie-fanaticism at the Samizdata link.  Typical SJW college grad journo, middle-class.  Now the construction workers - unionists, Labor voters, anything but Tories [or LNP down there].

Who's out of order there in their carelessness and shoddy journalistic ethics?

Which still does not answer the question - what would it be to turn tradies to so violently attack their own Union Boss?  Vaxxine mandates - nojab, no job.  What is it which causes us to call Susie 'grotesque', to all pile in on her?  It's the losses we're suffering, the pariah status, innit?  For how long would she herself put up with that s***?  Trick question - she'd be a shivering snowflake wreck within hours.

We've been putting up with this s*** for years, ourselves - Susie's s*** at Samizdata.  That's what's going down.  Leave the issues themselves aside for one moment - it's the behaviour by that lot which galls, the blind, intolerant stormtrooping for the world govt, or as the ldy in Polly's video said - she resents the division in society due to this behaviour by people in charge.
