Monday - the resigned slide into oppression

In Gatestone this morning [mailing, no url], one paragraph said:

Those who fled from Communist regimes see -- most dangerously -- the same censorship and totalitarian suppression repeated in America's democracy. They [who fled] know better than we do what freedom of thought means.

I did not live 'under' such a regime but lived in the wash, the debris wake, there were still many communist era aspects, e.g. in shops.  But more than that - I saw the insinuation of all sorts of western horror of the worst kind.  I worked for the trade  ministry for a time and one of the things the PTB wanted quickly was for prices to match western prices asap, so as to keep foreign companies there to be milked.

What of wages and salaries?  Well, we can worry about those later, said officials.  In the meantime, stores like Ikea had given over large spaces in the middle where crowds gathered and new credit company staff sat behind tables signing people up - there were long queues.  Sub prime.

Just as I can see the way the Cabal is hurtling the sheep towards hell on earth via vaxxes, bullyboy tactics etc. over here in the west, and even the supposedly intelligent are succumbing, which is no small statement as I'm fighting the NHS right at this moment, so I saw that situation in reverse in Russia - people desperately trying to get out from under that yoke and with the internet, shaking the head at how 'happily' the people are being herded towards their demise over here.

It's particularly poignant for me, just as it is now in the various refugee dissidents from those oppressive regimes but the sheeple are not listening, they're going along with whatever the latest govt inanity is, demonstrating everything Orwell feared.  

The way the elderly have fallen for the Lie is particularly frightening - these should have been the ones to lead the charge against such oppression.  And what of the sons and daughters?

Woke females [and males] are really sooooo stoopid, it grieves, truly it does.  Not only no idea of real history, but no idea how humans operate and if faced with two choices, will unerringly take the wrong one.

Now, to compound my crime, how about two stereotypes:

#  Men are largely uncaring brutes;

#  Women are largely Big Children who never know their limits.

Sadly, there is ample evidence of both.  How to address it?  Who knows?

It's Not Animals They Care About, Is It?

The Aspinall Foundation, which is fronted by Mrs Johnson, said it plans to transport a total of thirteen elephants - weighing 25 tonnes - more than 4,000 miles on a Boeing 747 to a secret location in Kenya in a 'ground-breaking step for this country and the conservation movement'.

The charity said it would work with anti-poaching teams to help ensure the long-term survival of the 13 animals - including three babies - once they reach one of two sites under consideration in southern Kenya.

Well, the Kenyan authorities must be overjoyed, surely? 

But Kenya's Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife said it 'noted with concern' the reports in the British media about what the charity has described as the first rewilding project of its kind.

'The ministry wants to state that neither them nor the Kenya Wildlife Service have been contacted or consulted on this matter,' the ministry said. 'Relocation and rehabilitation of an animal from a zoo is not easy and is an expensive affair.'

But how could they turn this down, aren't they short of elephants over there? 

Reader, they are not. 

Damian Aspinall, chairman of The Aspinall Foundation, told the Daily Telegraph: 'This is an incredibly exciting project and a genuine world-first. As with any conservation project of this magnitude, there are obviously big risks, but we consider them well worth it to get these magnificent beasts back into the wild where they belong.'

Yes, of course you do. Because it's not about the welfare of the animals at all, is it? 

The Fat Tax from the Fat Foodie

The headlines screamed out this morning. Dimbleby wants millions added to your food bills, in order to make you healthier. Strange words coming from a man who made his money from starting up flashy restaurants, and then selling them on to a couple billionaires; who himself verges on obese, but ‘knows’ that what he believes is good for the rest of us ‘plebs’.

The fatal flaw in his National Food Strategy is the truth that, whilst he reckons that poor people will be happy to pay more to eat the same garbage , he reckons that the cash paid by the food manufacturers will fund healthier living (Veggies on the NHS Prescriptions), cut meat eating by 30% (Thats the Climate Change diktat coming out of the shrubbery) , and best of all, supermarket tours where  the plebs will,be shown how to ‘eat healthily’.

I just wonder how much this fat fraud Dimbleby has been paid to produce this load of old garbage? Yes, I know he comes from the Eton / Oxford school of thought, much as the equally fat and fraudulent liar Boris Johnson, but even he must have heard of the well known phrase, beloved of Chancellors of the Exchequer since before DaneGeld, which goes ‘No Hypothecated Taxes around here’. The truth that the fat fraud Dimbleby doesn’t want to admit is that there has NEVER been a Chancellor who even catches a scent of a tax without grabbing ALL of it, and spending it himself. Hypothecation doesn’t and never has worked. 

Neither does ‘nudging’, preaching or any other idea that says that better-off people can tell poor people how to live, or eat, or do anything because the better-off people, the better-educated people, the wealthier people: simply know best!

It's not unlike the ending to Lord of the Flies

Golding's Lord of the Flies was filmed in 1962 under Rank and in a nutshell, it was about civilised schoolboys shipwrecked on an island, they attempt to get some law and order, some democracy going but the Bad Boy attracts all the weakminded, he gives himself over to evil, which approaches him in the night.

Then the murders start, beginning with the innocent and vulnerable [the left would have seen this as referring to them in 1962, whereas in 2021 it's turned around and the Woke are trying to kill off the dissenting traditionalists [see TMP below].

It descends into criminal insanity, savagery and murder, it becomes a death cult. With all law and order gone, the tattooed mob hunt down the last survivors who represent reason:

What Would We Do Without 'Experts'..?

Replacing pointed-tip kitchen knives with rounded blades could help reduce knife crime and prevent serious injuries within the home, according to research at De Montfort University Leicester (DMU).

In a study led by senior lecturer in Forensic Science at DMU, Leisa Nichols-Drew, five kitchen knives – each with a different type of blade tip – were used for ‘stab tests’ on items of clothing, to examine the damage caused by each knife.

In collaboration with DMU’s Dr Rachel Armitage and Dr Kevin Farrugia, University of Leicester’s Professor Robert Hillman and Northumbria University’s Dr Kelly Sheridan, Leisa conducted 300 ‘tests’ using a single downward stabbing motion on four garments, including a t-shirt, a pair of denim jeans, a long-sleeved jumper and a faux leather skirt – all made from different materials.

Your taxes undoubtedly went - somehow, probably grants - towards three 'scientists' stabbing clothing all day. This is why we don't have flying cars yet! 

“We want to remove the need for pointed knives. The majority of fatal injuries are caused by penetrative stabbings,” she added.

Prior to joining DMU, Leisa was a practitioner for the Home Office’s Forensic Science Service, working on some of Britain’s most notorious major crime cases. She later worked as a trainer for the police, judiciary and Crown Prosecution Service to improve their forensic awareness.

“My time in case work definitely inspired me to want to do this research,” she said. “I remember thinking at the time that there had to be a way to lower the risk of these terrible crimes from happening.”

And all it'll take is for everyone in the UK to change their entire kitchenware! Dream big, girlie.

False compassion

The Garethgate debacle at Wembley has illustrated - though way too many turned away in order not to see and then ascribed it, quite wrongly, MSM abetted, to something quite different - it's illustrated a fundamental principle and that's how false compassion can bring down an entire organisation, an entire country in fact.

Woke Gareth turned what was an uphill battle against a known team of dirty divers into a debacle for his own country at the death, and Italy are chortling about English woke myopia.

It’s true we have little patience at this site for indulging wrongdoers and the language reflects this but analyse what our concern is about in each case and far from being Ayn Rands, we are dead set against destructive things - that’s the motivation.  

Take the Somali pirates - yes, if they approach any ship to board, they must be sunk and that’s an end on’t.  There are two factors - one is that that’s a dozen pirates less to do it to someone else and two - the message gets through about what will happen each and every time.

The BBC has removed an educational page laying out the “benefits” of climate change after a furious online reaction.

BBC Bitesize, its website for schoolchildren, claimed warmer temperatures “could lead to healthier outdoor lifestyles” and that a benefit of climate change could mean easier access to oil in Alaska and Siberia.

And...isn't that a possibility? Should we ignore it. 

Other apparent benefits highlighted by the BBC included the ability to one day grow more crops in Siberia, new shipping routes created by melting ice, and more tourist destinations.

Also true. But we can't, apparently, handle the truth. Says who? 

After a backlash from climate experts and campaigners, including the Guardian writer George Monbiot, the page, aimed at year 10 students, was amended to only include the negative impacts of climate change.

Ah. The usual suspects. 

The exam board Eduqas said the information was not taken from its curriculum, adding: “Within our GCSE geography specifications, we examine the consequences of climate change and its respective impact on our planet.

“As part of our courses, we also ask students to explore opposing attitudes to climate change. However, we do not advocate a positive viewpoint on this topic.”

What are you doing advocating any viewpoint? Why not just lay out the facts and let people think for themselves? 

Scotland’s exam board recently came under fire from the Scottish Green party for teaching the “positives” of climate change.

The Scottish Qualifications Authority geography course gave benefits of climate change such as “increased tourism to more northerly latitudes” and “improved crop yields”.

The political party said it was “deeply inappropriate” for the SQA to specify the pros and cons should be given equal consideration.

Clearly, across the border, they are made of sterner stuff: 

The SQA responded: “Analysing and evaluating a variety of views is essential to critical thinking.”

Which we must discourage, lest people indulge in wrongthink.

By our standards, not a bad article, largely debunking the scam and how NHS staff are being browbeaten into accepting and further propagating the push.

However, in this era of ultrasensitivity to BS, the BS radar picked up two things - one is the prattiness of the word Unity because it implies a non-right stance or at least cuck-right, with us "dissident right" being described as "unherdable cats".  

Same goes with words such as Solidarity - they're dead giveaways. Among the Tories, it suggests One Nation Conservatism, which is pro-multi-cultural or in other words, as many non-Anglo, non-Celtic as possible, as seen in the current border policy.

So, the UNN seemed a group well worth investigating because of the second red flag - they set themselves up as complying with some sort of soc-med "standards".  They keep going on about that ... but whose standards?  A look at their ratings system sees the words "false information" and that's a red flag if ever there was.

Any organisation setting itself up as arbiter of social media and regulator as to boot has overtones of the "impartial" Electoral Commission, the usurping "Supreme Court" in the UK and that sort of body - Police Commissioners pretending to represent the people's interests but in thrall to Common Purpose at the same time.
