Classic moral conundrum

As far as I can gather, Sandford Police is a parody site:

… and some days back, they ran this, replied to by SadButMadLad, one of the regular dissidents out there:

Uh huh. For the record, my first thought was the domestic thing … no knowing what she’s done to him.  The child is missing now, next hour, much of the day as the disappearance is investigated.  Not a clue what  an RTC is meant to be, so that comes fourth, leaving collapsed man in third.

    "Road Traffic Collision"

Bit like an RTA, but with the implicit suggestion that it didn't 'just happen' and there's likely someone to blame for it.

  2. Sandford Police is indeed a parody account, Sandford being the fictional town in the Film "Hot Fuzz" (hence a lot of Comments/replies about "The Greater Good"). I've been following Sandford Police for quite a while now. They have done some excellent posts in the past.

  3. I forgot to add RTC is the new "PC" term for the original RTA. The thinking is there is no such thing as an accident, there is always someone to blame (and charge with an offence), so it has now been changed to collision. That is the thinking that also closes roads for 8 hours after a RTC so they can scrutinise the minutest evidence left on the road and then apportion blame.
