…it’s ‘de-escalation’.
A group of Jewish people gathered at the station to pray for the people of Gaza before videos appear to show British Transport Police officers attempting to break them up and take their speeches. A small scuffle broke out with clips suggesting around half a dozen officers were involved, before the situation was de-escalated by them walking away from the group.
Did they wave a white flag too? It's really a mystery why we have such little confidence in the police these days, isn't it?
Another case in point:
How can we have confidence in British policing? pic.twitter.com/2Y9MOAsyvw

How, indeed...
I haven't for some time. Its unfortunate really because about 80% of them are actually there with intentions to do their job and do good. But that 20% who push for management positions are the ones who are causing all this. Recruiting snowflakes and people who should never be in a position of power. Prioritising tweets over housebreaking. Choosing the easy option every time and taking no risks at all. While stopping us defending ourselves.
ReplyDeleteThe top management need culling, the ranks retested and put real policing at the forefront. Then I'll start having confidence in this useless shower of tossers.
JH: It’s exactly that type in top management that those above them “talent scout for”, as Davignon said of the WEF … he said they were good “talent spotters”. Those are the ones who need culling first … but how?
DeleteHas the rule about police wearing police hat, cap, bunnet, in order to be properly dressed to conduct official police business been withdrawn.
ReplyDeleteIn Scotland, at least, it used to be that if a police officer quite deliberately put a police cap on you knew they meant business. If the cap was deliberately carried or left in the car you knew that things were going to be informal - bringing bad news, advising of offspring bad behaviour, etc.
For the neighbouring curtain twitcher this was important.
"Oh dear. I see the polis going into Mrs Soanso's house, and they had their caps on."
They know they are wrong'uns and that's why they don't want their filthy behaviour on record.
